Just received today.. all looks great .. quality is good, sadly I am missing whatever parts are needed to attach the flag to the pole.. The top does have a hook.. but no way to attach the bottom of the flag to the pole. Hope to hear from the seller...

The pole broke after 9 months.

The Flag: 5Stars, top quality Workmanship, and Materials.Save a little money and order the Annin Estate Flag Pole set that is identical, except without the Mini-Solar Light.The Pole: 4Stars, great design, The materials chosen are a little flimsy however, with a very slight bend of the pole between the fixed lower section, and the upper spinning section making me wonder about the long term durability of the pole.The Solar Light: 3Stars, First off, it needs a switch to turn it off when the flag is indoors so you don't have to remove the battery often if you bring it indoors during strong winds and rain/hail storms. The reason you don't want to remove the battery is that the latches on battery compartment cover weaken very quickly and after removing the battery cover just a few times over three weeks, it no longer stays on and will fall of as soon as you put the pole with flag mounted, back into the very solid mount. Then the battery also falls out because the spring in the compartment isn't strong enough to hold the battery in place without the cover in place. So now both the cover and the battery are lost somewhere in the vegetation below where it fell from. The Solar light is made from very lightweight plastic, essential to be at the tip of the pole, but it feels like it would be short lived from becoming brittle in the sunlight. despite the flaw in the battery enclosure and retention spring. The included plastic mounting parts included for mounting the Solar light to the Pole, is a very clever design especially the angular tilting section between the Pole and the Flying Saucer of the Light. The light claims to have 6 lumens output, if I had the lights hitting the flag, the solar cells were not aligned to the Sun.The Wall Mounting Bracket: 4-Stars, Despite placing the Mounting Bracket on a heavy gauge Vertical one-inch square tubing Porch-Roof support that places the pole at a 42° angle from the porch support, there is not a position I could get the angle correct to light the flag and keep the Solar cells aligned towards the Sun. With the rotation of the fixed portion of the pole in the mount, it wasn't in the same position I had it in when the solar panels were correctly positioned. There is a threaded hole on the bracket that could be used for a locking screw, had one been provided. Then light output was so meager that just the top foot or so of the flag in no wind was able to be seen from more than twenty feet away.

The kit has everything you need and the quality of the hardware is good. About the light, it's not going to project light all over the flag and stand out. It satisfies the protocol of being lit at night if not taken down. It does the job of that. If you want the flag to be on display at night there are other brighter options. It charges the battery although I did put in a higher mA battery so it would stay on all night. Not a high quality light but is easy to mount and adjust. Also bought a smaller flag as this was for the home. The included flag is very good quality but a little big for my home application. I believe this kit is a good deal.

** Updated 6/11/2021 **Second update, and dropped it to 1 star. Just inside the one-year warranty the top connector for the flag to the pole broke, and when I took it down I noticed that all of the white stripes were deteriorating and separating at the seams, the clost not the stitching. I emailed the company on 6/4 and as of 6/11, no response.So overall, only the flag is made in the USA (the rest is Chinese), and neither the flag or the flagpole lasted one year in Phoenix, AZ. If you've got the money to blow, then go for it but good luck. I'll get a replacement from a more reputable company.I needed a new flag and wanted one with a solar light, and I paid more for this one specifically because it clearly said in the description that it's made in the USA, but I guess I didn't look close enough. The flag is made in the USA, but not the pole or light kit - they're made in China. I was so mad that I almost sent it back, but decided to hang it anyway. Turns out that the angle of the mount allowed tha flag to fly about two feet lower than my five year old cheap, everyday flag so I had to add a wedge and got it to work fine. Ultimately I can't blame the manufacturer for that, but it certainly didn't improve my mood.**Updated** It's been up for about a month now, 24/7, and the light stays lit all night, and the flag really looks great and hasn't once gotten wrapped on the pole - but with a little more research I could have accomplished the same thing and saved some money. Live and learn...

EDIT: As I was trying to figure out a way to make the solar light maintain a position that faced the sky, I discovered the light didn’t work at all. I returned this item as the cost was substantially higher than a kit without a light.Original review:The flag is very nice. The pole is fine. The solar light, however, is the weak link in this kit. The tony plastic pin that is supposed to hold it on place to orient toward the sun does nothing. The light fixture responds to gravity and flips downward. I should have saved some money and purchased just the pole and flag.

No More Tangles! The upper half of the pole spins on bearings and keeps the flag from wrapping around the pole in the wind. When mounting the bracket, this style is much more versatile that those cheap 2 position brackets. And, the light kit means us lazy guys don't have to take it down every night! I'm very happy. When it gets too worn to display, I'll probably get the same replacement flag. It's not just a cheap printed flag. The stripes are all sewn together, and the stars are embroidered. The colors are rich and deep. It's beautiful! Well worth the money!

I cannot judge the durability of the flag as I've had it only a week. However the kit contained everything I needed. And it was easy to assemble. I particularly like the solar light being on top of the pole as it provides more light as the flag hangs down and the flag doesn't get tangled in it. A great value for the money!
