The quality has declined
I purchased these (larger box) a couple of years ago and they were great, fresh and full of honey and flavour. This time was a different story: the honey appeared to have leaked out to one side and all of the contents were dry and tasteless. I don’t know if it’s because the packaging is different but I wouldn’t recommend.

Good quality product
I'm not a big fan of Baklava and I wanted to try it again to see if my taste changed. The product seems good quality and it's not cloyingly sweet and soaking in syrup like the ones I had before. It's just not for me; some people just don't like balkava and I'm one of them, but if you do, I'm sure you'll like this.

Dry baklava
Small package, rather dry, other Baklava might be drowning in juice but this one ..not one drip. Taste is nothing special for the price. At least no plastic in packaging.

Where is the baklava of yesteryear?
I set out to find a baklava without palm oi. This seems to be it.However the baklava I used to eat was fragrant with honey and moist. This has a tiny bit of syrup and was so dry. What a price for such a bad experience. I shall have to make my own- but since good quality filo pastry is no longer available, I’ve got to learn to make that first. How frustrating.

Honestly the best Baklava I have ever tried, the sweetness is just right, lovely & crisp these were gone in one sitting! Very moreish & just perfect you will want more. I personally already have plans to buy again & send as a gift they are that good yum yum :)
