I saw this Magic Array wireless charger and I thought right away, this is something that I need. I figured that it would be small and flimsy but when it arrived I was totally surprised, this charger is awesome. It is large sized and the light that appears when I put my phone on the charger looks great, totally reminds me of something from the show “charmed”. Not only is it cool to look at but it also does a great job at charging my Samsung S10 plus, but compatible with other phones, so if my friend needs to charge their iPhone I don’t need a special cord for them. I am glad that I purchased the charger and I would recommend this Magic Array Wireless Charger to anyone who needs their phone charged and at the same time show off something extraordinary.

This thing looks pretty cool and is a cool idea, but it has issues. First off, it's very large. To put it in perspective, it's almost the size of a dinner plate and nearly 3/4" thick. I was expecting something thinner and rubber, with a gripping surface, but it's basically hard plastic. It has a sort of velvety feel to it, but it's not enough to keep your phone from sliding around should you accidentally bump it. It's fairly sturdy construction for a "cheap" Chinese manufacture (the packaging is in Chinese), so that's a plus. It has two types of micro USB plugs, one on each side, and the cable it comes with worked just fine with the standard iPhone USB charging adaptor.The main issue I had with the charger, though, is that it requires that you be extremely accurate with your phone placement, and given the surface real estate this thing has, that's no simple task. Basically, you have to place your phone (an iPhone 11 in my case) on the charger and then slide it around until it finds the "sweet spot" and makes the connection. Since the camera lenses on the iPhone 11 protrude a bit, this is slightly problematic as you're exposing the lenses to unnecessary wear. As other reviews have noted, if you don't find the exact spot, it either won't activate at all, or worse, only partially activates, which is to say it begins to activate, de-activate, and activate again, continuously. Since the activation sequence is about 6 seconds long, this is pretty annoying. If you have the "high match" version (mine was the regular version), this will include playing the (apparently very loud) song over and over again. The sequence continues until you move the phone around again looking for the perfect spot to make a full connection. Sometimes you get lucky and find it right away. Sometimes it might take minutes. I decided to return mine after spending about three minutes trying to create a stable connection. The entire point of a charging pad is convenience: you drop your phone on it and go on with your day. If it takes longer to make the pad work than it does to plug in the charging cable, then there's no point in using a pad in the first place.Another minor gripe is that the lights go off after 30 seconds. I would have preferred they simply dim after 30 seconds, but remain on until the phone is fully charged. That way, the lights actually serve a purpose other than just being cool (that purpose being knowing at a glance if your phone is fully charged or not). So, basically, you're paying $45 for 36 seconds of cool. Also, the lights not terribly bright and are hard to see in a standard lighting environment. They look great if you turn the lights off, though.All in all, this thing has the potential to be pretty awesome, but it's flawed design makes it highly impractical to use, which defeats the entire purpose of using it in the first place. I returned mine and will be looking elsewhere for my charging needs.

First I requested the item ship in Amazon packaging; that wasn’t done. The item arrived in its native box and was open! ... The unit doesn’t always recognize when a phone is laid on it and even when it does it will intermittently disconnect from charging while the phone is on the charger. Very poor quality.

BUYER BEWARE Junk it doesn’t charge through any cover and it take a few sit downs to turn on.There also are cooler o we out there. I’m out $$$

This is absolute garbage. It will not stay connected to charge my phone. Over and over it connects and disconnects. Save you money and get the one on amazon that has blue lights. That one works like a champ.

I can't exaggerate how awesome this charger is.The first one came and would only charge if it was placed in an exact position on the plate, but after reaching out to the customer service I was sent another one almost immediately and it works like a dream.. Even though this charger has summoned some rather unpleasant house guests from other dimensions, it's a piece I won't be getting rid of any time soon.

DO NOT BUY! It just got to my house and it stopped working already. Honestly pissed. The sound already went out and it doesn’t charge my phone. Worked one time. Very disappointed! I just received my replacement and it doesn’t work either!!!!!

Waste of time and money. I’m returning my original and replacement purchase. The first one didn’t charge at all and the second one charged for a few moments and shut off at intervals.
