This is amazing Salve, works on cuts and bug bites and heals sores very quickly! Love all the Kalaya products.

It’s my own fault for not checking before I ordered, but one of the main ingredients listed is Emu Oil. For those unaware, Emu Oil is extracted from the fat on an Emu’s back. Unfortunately, the animal has to be killed for this. Emu meat is generally inedible, thus rendering the murder of the animal for cosmetic purposes only. To top that off, no clinical research has proven that Emu Oil has any benefit beyond that of basic fats and oils - meaning they could use Shea butter or coconut oil as a cruelty free alternative.I will not be purchasing any more products from this company, and would urge the company to look for better cruelty free alternatives. It’s unfortunate because I love supporting Canadian companies, but not at the cost of an animal being killed to make people’s lips smooth.

First saw this company at Walmart and liked the fact that it's Canadian and "baby safe" to try it out as part of a gifts for baby showers. Unfortunately, wasn't comfortable giving it as gifts as the smell isn't great and I wouldn't want to use it in public. I try to use it at home still but can't as a lip balm given the smell. Too early to tell whether it does what it claims to do in terms of healing. Also, all of their products I got online turned much smaller than I expected, but I should've looked at measurements, rookie mistake at the time.

Wow! I bought this to have around the house and just after it arrived I burnt my arm really badly on the oven (not the usual bread pan burn either). I applied this and it instantly would feel better and seriously healed in less than two weeks and I have no scar which totally blows my mind. I will buy again when needed and highly recommend. Also works amazing for moisturizing chapped lips!

Best product for chapped lips and eczema. I’ve tried a lot of products to treat my eczema and had given up buying anything else because nothing was helping. Then my lips got so dry and chapped that someone recommended Kalaya Wonder Salve. I must say it is AMAZING! After just one application I was so surprised. It certainly is a “WONDER”Salve!

Product came with a safety seal. Immediately upon opening, there’s an overwhelming scent of tea tree oil. I used it on a mosquito bite and it helped temporarily to provide some itch relief within a couple of minutes but I did have to reapply frequently. I did try it on my lips, however, it irritated my lips. I would recommend this for itch relief but it wasn’t a good moisturizer for lips with sensitive skin.
