It does work
So a lot of.bad reviews but for the price I think it is fine for starters. I put in 3 quail eggs just to try it out. I put them in Dec 30th and they hatched Jan 20th. The 3rd one did not hatch but it was fully developed. I think I messed it up frankly. So I won't blame the incubator. I turned mine every day at least twice. Pointy end down. On day 16 I added a kids medicine cup full of water to the middle of the incubator and filled it each day as needed until hatched just for extra humidity. I do not like that there is no way to tell humidity but it worked. It's great for starting out. I have 7 more inside now. So we will see the hatch rate with these.

Do NOT buy this product!
This incubator worked for 2 weeks. The fan died and the temperature sensor stopped working. Because of this, our ducklings died. I would not recommend this product!! It’s a waste of money, and it’s a heartbreaking conversation to have with your children.

It is cute, but missing the hatching tray.
If you live in colder climate, make sure to put the incubator in a warm box, to prevent temperature fluctuation. It doesn't have the hatching tray where you would want to keep newly hatched chicks, before they dry out.Even though, it looks very nice, I had to return it back . Also, my temp readings were fluctuating way too much and we lost all the eggs.

Great little product. Died before a year.
Was excited about this product then read the reviews and my expectations dropped. Received this gift from Santa and I ran outside grabbed some eggs and started the process. At exactly day 21 my cat alerted me to noise! I did it I was a new mother of 1. Which for me I think was great considering I grabbed random eggs from my chickens not knowing how fresh they were. Currently we are in the midst of the CV-19 and while inside decided to do another round. Not all are bantam eggs so I only added 4 and these I know were laid the same day I added them. All in all I think it does what is said. Watch videos remember to turn and add water and in 21 days you should be a proud parent also. UPDATE. It died about a week ago. So it lasted almost a year. With as much as I used it and for the price I guess it is to be expected.

Does not work!
I have tried to hatch out two clutches of eggs in this thing and didn't get one live chick! We put an extra digital thermometer in the unit and have observed the temperature fluctuate within a 10 degree F range. We have tried insulating it with a towel and styrafoam still didn't work. It was a waste of money and good eggs!

Uneven heating but good temp control
I used this as a bacterial culture incubator, but I think my experiences are relevant to the intended use. This design puts the heat fan directly under one of the egg tray spots, which means one egg (or one portion of the petri dish in my case) gets hotter than the rest. I remedied this for my purposes with a 3D printed tray that diverts the hot air around the edges so it can flow evenly around the dome. The temp control seems to be accurate and efficient, and the fan is very quiet.I hope this helps someone

Very risky
Ok, it was an easy set up. I didn't get any eggs to hatch the first few tries. On the third time around, the heating element gave out, just days before the expected hatch. All the eggs died :-( Looks like condensation dripped into the wrong area and shorted it out.

We Hatched Eggs Using This!
I seen a lot of bad reviews for this but bought it any way . Was very easy to use and after 23 days of waiting our first chick hatched..this is the first time we tried hatching eggs and was surprised this worked , not sure why some say it didn't work unless their eggs were not fertile
