I purchased a replacement cord for my Sony Xplode. My daughter lost the cord. My daughters best friend got the same explode the same year my daughter did. Tried the replacement cord and didn't work Tried a second replacement cord that the company sent and still did not work. Thinking it was the boombox I asked my daughters friend to bring over the original Sony cord from her boom box and it worked just fine in my daughter's unit
