I got this to replace the broken trailer light plug on my trailer. This one is short, it says 12" but maybe 8" after you get the wires crimped up and i would also get a few wire clamps to guide the wires so they do not hang out where they can get snagged.This little end though was very high quality, i liked 3 features, one is the wires and plug were all made of firm yet flexible rubber which will help it last much longer than the cheep Chinese hard plastic that cracks. Second it also had built in to it a very nice braided plastic conduit over the wires to help hold them together so they don't get snagged or rubbed. Finally it has 2 holes on the plug end which you can use to screw it to your trailer and hard mount the plug, this is a benefit because my old plug broke because it would get snagged and pulled on until the wires were pulled out of it, with the plug head actually screwed to the trailer if you accidentally pull on the wire it will not just rip the little wires it should unplug instead.This may seem counter intuitive if your truck has a hard mount trailer plug and the trailer does as well because there is no slack to plug the two together, but it makes for a stronger and longer lasting setup. I also bought a nice coiled jumper connector cable to go between the truck and trailer, it lights up when plugged in and if it gets pulled and broken it is an easier one to replace then having to re solder and crimp new wires in to your truck or trailer.

Seems like a good replacement for a 4 pin connector.

This plug works very well as a new or replacement trailer connection on the trailer side. The plug is well constructed and molded to be quite weather resistant, and comes with a tube of silicone grease to keep water from corroding the contacts. When connected to the car side it makes a very firm connection so I know it isn't going to wiggle loose going down the road. It could stand to have some longer wires, though, for ease of connecting to the trailer. Overall I'm pretty happy with it.

I purchased a used utility trailer with an odd circular (not the 1.5" diameter 7-pin connector) connector and needed to change it to the flat 4-wire connector. This was surprisingly easy to install. It came with all the necessary hardware for the wire connection. I was expecting to need wire nuts or crimp connectors but I was wrong. All I needed was a pair of wire cutters to remove the old connector.Super easy install.

I bought this for the boat trailer. I have had another one of these on my utility trailer for about 4 years. It is great that it can be caped off when not in use. It also is durable, so you don't loose the cap. The only thing I wish is that it came a little longer. It would be nice not to have to have wire splices in the middle of the droop betwen the vehicle and trailer.

This seems to be a very high quality product. The wire coating is thick and the Plug in seems to be very durable.

This trailer connector seems to be of very high quality. It plugs in and out easily and came with some electrical grease to keep it in good condition. The cap also seems like it won’t break off like many cheaper ones do. I’m really happy I chose this connector above other offerings.

Well designed and made. I should have bought this a while ago to replace the connector on the trailer side.
