Our drinking water is now wonderful
We have a mountain ski condo with both chlorine and heavy mineral tastes in our water. It was difficult to drink and our coffee terrible. Our dog refused to drink the water so we were carrying in 7gallon containers of fresh dog approved water!Our condo neighbors researched and found this water filter. They said it worked for them.I ordered one from Amazon immediately. When it arrived we looked at the directions to see if we needed anything additional. The install photos showed a picture of the items that were needed. We looked at it and knew we had everything necessary. However this was not true as we started the installation and we had to drive an hour and a half round-trip to a hardware store to buy an adapter that is absolutely essential.The adapter you need is pictured above and is a 1/2”x 3/8” adapter with both sides female.After our installation was complete our drinking water was great and our dog happily drinks water with great gusto!Strongly recommend the filter!

Adapters not included
This product doesn’t include a water supply adapter. Gone three times to Homedepot to purchase this adapter and they don’t have it.

Replacement model for discontinued filter
This filter is slightly longer than the one it is meant to replace. Otherwise, it performs fine.

Installed in a flash
I put this in my RV. I was replacing a discontinued model, but this new filter fit in the old housing. It took about 3 minutes to install. Very pleased though I have not used it yet as the RV is winterized.

Correct product but box is beat up
This product came in a beat up old looking box. The actual filter was shrink wrapped and was exactly the 3m product according to the label. Knowing if a filter is real is hard to tell. I can’t tell by taste or color if my current water filter needs replacement and the product is pricey. But I don’t trust the generic. Will report back if there is an issue.

Price is right along with taste.
Have one in the kitchen and wanted another in the bathroom but 3M came out with the same model with a Carthage that is not interchangeable, be careful. Sent it back for the same model in kitchen. Perfect and happy.
