Quartet Magnetic Whiteboard, 17 x 23 inches White Board, Dry Erase Board, Black Frame (MWDW1723M-BK)

I bought this almost 5 years ago and am still using today. Just the right size to have a good workspace without being too big to easily move around.

Your first question might be, "why does this woman think she's so very changed by a whiteboard?" Well, my reason is sound, as you'll find out if you keep reading.First, the integrity of the board. Sturdy, good packaging, arrived intact, looks like a lovely whiteboard. Zero complaints. Lovely size for what I needed.Why I needed it, is why my father and I are changed humans.My father has worked for the same place since 1974 and just retired back in February. When I was a small child I used to go to take your kid to work days and waaaaay back when he had a whiteboard in his office and I climbed up on a stool and used one of his dry erase markers to write, "I love you daddy" on it. Well, he kept it. Moved that whiteboard all over buildings with him. I didn't know until we fast forward to 4 years ago and we had a bring your family day and I walk in and there's the board with my scrawl from so many years before. I added to it that day by writing the same sentiment right above it and circling it with a little cloud shape. (Full disclosure: I cried.) Fast forward to around 2 1/2 years ago when I started working there, too, and I see his office again and to welcome me, he wrote that he loved me, too, above it. Well, we found out he could not take this whiteboard with him. I offered to pay well over what it was worth, to get a new one, everything I could think of and no was the resounding answer. So I hatch a new plan. I go in and take pics on the dl. I order this whiteboard from Amazon. I order sharpies in the right colors so it'll never come off once I do this. I then painstakingly duplicate every single line of it as close to the original scrawl as I can. (I left his off so he could write it himself.) On Christmas day, well after he's vacated his office and we had to erase said board, I gift him this whiteboard. (Full disclosure: we both cried this time.)We are changed people. This whiteboard literally preserved memories for years to come. And, y'all, when the dreaded day comes that he passes on... that whiteboard will come to live with me. So, you see, this whiteboard has deeply affected our lives.(Full disclosure: I may cry a lot, because I'm crying again typing this, lol)

This is from the perspective of a college student:***Sturdiness***So, it comes with adhesive (which I never use with these kinds of things) and magnets. The magnets aren't super sturdy, but the board is very magnetic. I have my own clips that I use for this and they hold the board well. It's fallen off the wall (my own fault) multiple times and hasn't even cracked in the slightest.***Quality***It works for what I need it to do. I use dry and erase markers from Expo and they clean nicely off of the board. The marker provided isn't as nice, but I bought this for the board, not the accessories.***Price***Price is suitable for what it is. If you want a whole slate, this isn't for you. I'm a college student that just needed it to keep me on task.Overall: I can't complain. It's a great little product. It's been a few months since I bought it and it's been great.

To start, this is a really high quality white board. It has a very, very sturdy frame and a perfectly spotless complexion. It's a great size for a note-taking board and fits pretty much anywhere horizontal or vertical. Mounting it is easy as well (I used command strips rather than nails).It comes with a Quartet marker, which is, in my opinion, one of the best dry-erase marker brands out there. It writes in a very deep black and doesn't fray very easily. Great for writing or drawing, and it has an eraser cap.One thing I've noticed, though, is that the board does not do well with my Expo markers. The Quartet writes like a dream, but the Expo markers sort of fade from the board. This has not happened with any board I have owned before, but some white boards in my college actually say only to use Quartet brand markers, so perhaps some boards are different in a way that makes them better compatible with Quartet and less with others? I'm not sure.Overall, I recommend this board over what you might buy at Target or Walmart because it balances cost, size, and quality very well.

This is a simple board. The back and frame seem to be made of painted cardboard, which could be fragile if hit or stabbed, but it should work just fine on the wall. The lack of metal or wood keeps it very light, which both supports its own structural integrity and makes it a good fit for many walls, particularly dorm walls. I have noticed that if you don't frequently erase with it, the marker is hard to remove, but this is true of almost any whiteboard, particularly budget ones.It looks nice enough, it is a great accessory for a dorm, but probably not for an office. For the price, I am very satisfied - it performs as well as similarly sized boards that cost $5 to $10 more. It fits very well on small walls and in tight walls, while being large enough to be able to write important stuff on it.

Super convenient to have around and work on problems. Personally didn't attach to wall, but feel like it is sturdy enough i can sit on floor and work on problems; actually id say its the perfect size for that too as long as you don't want to carry it with you in a backpack.

I loveeeeeeee my white board. It had been such a good thing in my life. It hangs up well and stays. I put magnets and all kind of things on this board. perfect board i love it soo much.. go and buy
