For burning down glucose levels rapidly (and expediting reentry into ketosis), this has been the most effective supplement I've tried yet. It's certainly helping more than ceylon cinnamon and R-ALA, the effects of which I can barely notice in comparison.High amounts of chromium picolinate have been shown to have potentially negative health effects if continued for extended periods, but other forms are supposed to be safe (from what I've read, at least). Still, you may get a persistent headache if you significantly overdose (yes, I learned the hard way).Long story short, until someone develops a better product, I'm sticking with this dinicocysteinate form of chromium. I'm still surprised I could find a cheap product that produces such quick results in improving glucose metabolism.

Bottle was manufactured in 2015. Couldn't tell if it was expired or not. Looked like it had been sitting on the shelf since then. Tried it anyway. Made my blood-sugar level rise...just the opposite I was hoping for.Will not buy or use again. Did not live up to the claims in my opinion.

Being a type 2 diabetic who is having trouble controlling my blood sugar levels as I age, I was interested in trying this after I read about a lab research study on it. According the this study, it did actually seem to lower blood sugar in Type 2 diabetics. After talking to my doctor, I started using it and it does seem to help in the lowering process. I will see how it goes!
