Great for most conditions: Chromapop fails in low light + high contrast.
Have been a Smith Optics fan for 15+ years, my 5th or 6th pair, first of this model. I daily road bike commute and am an expert (not pro) mountain bike adventurer.Shape and coverage: these are the best glasses Ive worn. They fit perfectly in my Fox Airframe full-face as well as my daily skate helmet. My eyes water just thinking about wind, so I must wear glasses in all conditions. These breathe easy and prevent fogging, while providing maximum wind coverage to eliminate eye watering. Truly impressive.Full frame visibility - cant beat this coverage AND peripheral vision - wow!Took me a sec to figure out the arms need to be closed to swap lenses.Have noticed really bad “ghosting” on all chromapop lighter lenses across various models (pivlock asana, etc). After some research I found this is called “lens aberration” - all lenses have it, and mirrored (read: chromapop) have it worst of all. The lighter the lens tint the more noticeable it is (virtually imperceptible in darker tints). The aberration amount is determined (worsened) by the thickness and curvature of the lens as light bounces and reflects back at your eye off of the mirrored surfaces. As chromapop has two layers of light mirroring (aka filtering), you will notice two ghosts. This effect is only problematic in low light + high contrast situations, such as Sunrise/sunset, or Headlight night riding/driving where there are bright patches against dark backdrops. The bright or illuminated objects will ghost to either side. For even and consistent lighting conditions, Chromapop actually improves visibility by filtering out specific frequencies of light that cause visual confusion. Pretty neat!Once i figured this out, I realized I just need a set of clear lenses for night riding and commuting. Problem solved.

Nice, But One Small Problem
I like these glasses 95% of the time. Your field of view is great, and there isn't a lot of glare or other faults in the lenses. My only complaint is that the clips which hold the temples / ear pieces onto the frame aren't the sturdiest, and will occasionally pop out when putting the glasses away. Not a problem most of the time, but a slight nuisance. Otherwise, recommended!Updated Review 9/23/21 - I don't think the build quality of these was as good as I originally thought. I dropped them once, and that was enough to cause the lens to fail. The lens no longer clips into the temples, rendering it pretty much useless. I got some use of out them, but I'm going to look elsewhere going forward.

Bro, they work bro
Bro. Bro, you don’t even ski bro until you wear these, Bro. Bruh, I was like ripping on the little groms for skiing with wraparounds like this but then my sunglasses started fogging. Dude, what a dud!So bro, I bought these for my Cross Country ski race and all the millennials were, like, awesome. And I was, like... killer! Because - no more fog bro! Also, check it out these are Transitional Sunglasses! Meaning they get darker in direct sunlight! Gnarly, huh? I totally didn’t realize that until they got dark one day. Sick. They stay dark in overcast which is a total bummer.

Great cycling glasses
I love these sun glasses for cycling and running. The unobstructed view with these really clear optics is a great experience. It does a good job of blocking wind while moving quickly and protects my eyes from debris. The normal mirrored lens is awesome. I don’t have eye strain from the sun and the clarity and high contrast are great for mountain biking where I am looking for details in the trail. The low light lens has come in handy for sunset rides and overcast days. The rose base is great. The case is nice enough. But I wish I didn’t have to take the arms off the glasses every time I stored the glasses in the case. Pretty annoying.

Tremendous field of vision
I Love the glasses as there is a complete range of viewing the road. They have become my go to cycling glasses.

Awesome Sunglasses
Super easy to change the lenses. The rose lens is much nicer than a clear lens. Ultimately they're super comfortable and the visibility is solid...maybe not a 10/10 but more like an 8.5/10. I don't know if I would ever pay the full price for them, however.

Superbe lentille rose
Bonne lunette surtout la lentille rose. La lentille chromapop verte me donne de drôle de reflets à l'intérieur des lunettes. Je m'attendais à mieux comme couverture. Avec une casquette c'est beaucoup mieux par contre.

Love these! Great for smaller faces, no watery eyes!!
I love these sunglasses! Bought them for road cycling (I had been using my RayBans for years and they kept sliding down and didn't cover my eyes from sun entering the top). These Attack Max glasses are perfect for full sun coverage on a road bike, especially in the drop position. They wrap around my face very well (I have a small face), especially compared to the Oakley EV Radar that I was also considering buying. I’m so glad I didn’t get the Oakley pair because they were too big and chunky on my face. With the Smiths, I don’t get any wind in my eyes (which is important since I wear contact lenses) and they don’t slide down my face at all, even in high humidity and sweaty heat. I love that the white matches my helmet, and that I can buy a different lens if I get tired of the red or want to match my outfit more (cause you know, fashion!!). The low light lens it comes with was good enough to use at night with my bike lights (for wind and debris protection) but if you plan on doing a lot of night riding I recommend getting a clear lens - the pink was a little too dark in areas with no street lights or moonlight.

Excellent for cycling
Excellent glasses for the price! I use them solely for mountain biking and they work perfectly. It’s easy to switch out the lenses and having a low-light and dark lens makes them perfect for all conditions.
