Amazing book!! There are lots of different and useful case studies for students and managers. Studying how people solve problems in their winery could help us to do well and to not make the same mistakes.

While there are indeed several potentially interesting case-studies in this text, the impact is limited by a seeming lack of familiarity with English sentence structure. There were no less than 4 editors on this book, including: Pierre Mora, Bryan Imelli, Claude Garrabos and Corrine Cheung. Yet somehow the reader is still forced to try and untangle a paragraph such as this one on page 46:"In 2011, two new brands were released: Veut with very special characteristics and low alcohol content, made out of Garnacha to reach young audience, and Garnacchio liquor, which is also elaborated with Garnacha. A new society was formed to articulate their participation in another company involving the Cariñena DO - leading companies with the aim of improving the advertising and marketing of the wines of the area. This year reached a record number of bottles sold, with more than 24 million, and a turnover close to 27 million, which means profits that average price per bottle was a little over 1."Granted this paragraph is taken out of context, but I can pretty much guarantee you that reading it in context provides little help. This is one of dozens of head-scratching passages that litter the pages of this book. I can't possibly fathom how all four editors signed off on this copy - especially in a text that is supposed to be for educational purposes.I would advise against purchasing this book until a further edition when, hopefully by then, one of the people working for The Wine Appreciation Guild with editor in their job title actually does the hard work of editing this book.
