Great bag but smells of mildew
I love the size. It fits in the overhead bins on small planes. It arrived with a black mark/stain on the front and it smells of mildew like it sat in a damp warehouse for years. I wanted to use it so washed it with bleach and then vanilla extract. Most of the smell is gone but the stain remains. I love the bag so did not want to return it. I figured asking for a new one would send the same issues. So I dealt with it...

Perfect fit for maximum carry on size
Coolest looking bag ever. Perfectly sized for US carryon with minimal space taken by the luggage itself. The soft side means I can pull some things out, put them in my pockets, and squish the bag down to meet carry on requirements for some international flights (e.g. Air China) where dimensions are slightly varied. You can't do that with a fixed hard side bag. Great as backpack, chest straps and load lifters are great to have.

Broke on first use
Love the bag but in the airport the backpack strap snapped; super bummed and crazy to have a bag break that is supposed to be this well made. Nargear made it right and i would buy from them again.

Functional and Durable
Great size for travel. Like the grab handles on the exterior and the hidden backpack style straps. Also, like the interior pockets. The bag material is tough and durable. I have a larger version for Wildland Firefighting gear and have been very happy. That made me look at this bag for personal use.

Super versatile, very happy!
Fits perfect in overhead bin. You can pack tons into this bag and it's rain resistant. Carry handles, shoulder strap, or back pack.

Solid.
I haven't had a chance to use it yet, as my flight isn't until another 30 days, but so far, it seems to be a well suitable bag and I'm pleased with it.

Heavy duty gear for the action sport traveler
Nargear is heavy duty constructed gear that can take a beating. I was introduced to Nargear as a Wildland Firefighter. Now I own several bags, the Skidmark, Sledhead, and Narski mini. The Carry On will now just add to my arsenal. Wether your out chasing Wildland fires, traveling the world snowboarding, skiing, or surfing you can be rest assured that your stuff is going to be secure in your gear that can take a thrashing!
