No rust - Still in perfect shape after 6 years
To the people that want support loops to keep the jars from falling over...why? I love that this thing is flat, as it holds a ton of jars, especially if you're doing smaller 1/2 pint or the skinny 3/4 pint jars. Support loops is a deal breaker if you want to do a large quantity of jars, or a mix of jar sizes. There are a few very minor cons about this that I've learned to deal with. The side handles do fall in sometimes (rarely - only on a very small load of jars), but I use two pairs of tongs to pull the rack out of the water before unloading jars anyway, so no big deal, not the end of the world. And yes, the jars can be unsteady if you're doing a small load of jars, but again, no big deal. I've learned to live with it, and there is enough wire on the bottom to keep them steady if you place them carefully. However...I am going to purchase a flat bottom rack for this (Laxhand 11" pressure cooker rack), which should solve that issue!Overall really happy. And going on 6 years now with no rust!

Won’t ever can without it!
The media could not be loaded. Makes water-bath canning super easy! Love that it clings lifted to the side of your water pot so you can set up your jars & lifts in easily into the boiling water with the handles. At the same time, it protects your jars from direct contact with the bottom so they won’t break. Awesome find!

this is just like the other one I had
this is just like the other one I had. (I bought that one at Menards) I have had my waterbath canner for 15 years, and this is my 2nd replacement rack. the first 2 rusted out. I really don't mind tho because they are inexpensive to replace and do last several years. I do a ton of canning so I really can't expect them to last forever anyway. as with my others, the handles seem to fall over easily, but hubby easily fixes that by pinching them at the base with a pair of pliers. I never pull the rack full of canned goods out of the water anyway so this is no big deal to me, i can't stand the handles falling into the water when I am trying to load jars, so I learned that trick a long time ago. I like the smooth bottom over the ones that are compartmentalized because I feel like I can fit the jars in better. overall a great rack and it will see many canning jars.

Fits pot
This fit my canning pot but the jars don’t sit flat all the time. If you don’t sit the jars just right, the jars will fall over. Not sure if the spacing on the rack is to far spaced or what would make it better. Did what I needed it to.

Just Like My Old One
It wasn't easy to find but this jar holder was worth looking for. I had an old one that had seen better days. This one is stainless steel, very sturdy, and holds 10 or more jars for their water bath depending on size. I used it for all my fall canning last year and it still looks like new. Very impressed

A-MA-ZING!! ♡
This Victorio Canning Rack is excellent! It is solid, heavy duty, and reminds me of the standard of quality products were consistently made and held to decades ago. We were so delighted to FEEL it, and excited to slip it in my NEW, heavy duty, stainless steel POTS, and... ugh! It didn't fit?! •gasp• I bought the wrong size?! Screams, "NEOOO"!! •heart broken whimper•Warning: Be sure to take out your trusty measuring tape, measure your pot opening, and consider the internal base, as well, before determining the size to order. Otherwise, expect a tussle with your mailman with the box as you will heartbreakingly have to return this amazing canning rack! :( •long-winded, girly sigh•

Outstanding Performance
My Wife really got into canning this year. She bought a canning set with all things you would need to begin canning. After about 5 or 6 uses, the rack that came with that kit began to rust. So, she ran by the store a picked up an inexpensive replacement. Same thing, rusted after a few uses. I went and did some research and found this one here on Amazon and decided to give it a shot. It is stainless steel and I am happy to report that after dozens of uses, there isn't even the slightest sign of deterioration. It is also much stronger, sturdier, and generally better made than the other two racks. It has not failed us and I am extremely pleased with its performance. Also, it only costs maybe $7 or $8 more than the cheap ones that failed. Get it, you won’t be disappointed.

Finally no rust in my canning water
My canning rack is almost as old as I am and my husband has tried everything to minimize the rusting on it. We finally admitted that a new stainless steel one was a reasonable investment. Great and easy to use. Don’t miss the old “rust bucket” at all.

Sturdy
No issues so far but I’ve only used it once. Seems durable. Didn’t bend under full weight. Impressed with the quality.

No need to purchase rack (it comes with the canner)
I was trying to write a review for the canner, not just the rack. I purchased this canner after reading many reviews online and am really happy with my purchase. I didn't mind paying more for a product that doesn't chip and rust. I've had no problem using it on my solid surface stove. This was my first canner and I was able to can everything from jams to applesauce. Having the temperature gauge in the canner lid made me much more comfortable, knowing my canned goods would be safe. Everything turned out great! I wish that the canner description had said that the rack was included, because by the time I had an opportunity to return it, it was too late, so I wasted $30+ on something that I can't see ever needing an extra of. It's misleading that Amazon shows the rack being "frequently bought together" with the canner.
