it's all good
Not a terribly sophisticated compass, but works great for teaching youngsters about compasses. Easily carried, easy to read. Great value for the money.

3 of 6 compasses don't work
I have purchased this brand before and the compasses work fine (I use them in Boy Scouts). 3 of the 6 that I recently purchased have issues with the needle - the needle sits at an angle and does not rotate, no matter what I try. I'm not sure if the needle is out of balance, the supporting post has an issue, or what. I'm not going to go through the hassle of returning them, but I will not purchase this brand again.

Fantastic price for great product!
Used these for a kids camping activity and they stood up to how rough they were treated. Quality material at a great price. Would buy them again!

Cheaply made, but they work
I gave these to a group of scouts to use for a basic orienteering lesson. They all worked properly on the simple course that was designed. The biggest complaint is the needle wobbles a bit as you move around. But what do you expect for 6 compasses for $20? I do not expect them to last for years, but it's not a bad tool for beginners.

For compass class
Exactly what I needed to teach boys how to use a compass.

Save your money
Not accurate and cheaply made.

Great gift for my cub scout den!
Bright yellow makes them easier to find when left somewhere. Easy to hold and read. Kids like to use the neck strap. Buyer Beware: One of the compasses had reverse polarity. If your North arrow points South, run a strong magnet over it a few times until it points North. No need to return it.

Total garbage
These are terrible compasses. Most of them don't even point north and the needle rotates around as you do. I tried multiple of these and none of them worked in a way that I would trust if I was lost in the woods. You would do better with a floating electrically charged needle in a bowl of water - seriously. These are total garbage and I am returning them.

Not the best
They break easily, cant rely on them.
