Sericin is a brand that seems like it's having some issues with pricing their products. From what I understand, Sericin does have one eye product that is a miracle worker, and once the brand discovered its potential and garnered positive attention, all of its product prices shot up through the roof.This is a phenomenal cleanser that's just priced about $50 more than it needs to be. There are no ingredients here that would indicate the price point was necessary. I have another silk cleanser that is literally $29 and feels almost identical to this one. While this cleanser is weightless, hydrating, and cleansing without being harsh, the price of $100+ (varying between website, amazon, and other vendors) is simply just too high. I only have one other cleanser in this price point and it delivers DAYS of lasting smoothed skin, smaller pores, even temporary fine line correction. This cleanser simply can't compete with the power and ability of that cleanser, yet its price is actually higher.Four stars for a great cleanser, but a star removed because this brand needs to adjust its pricing badly. Even if your products work wonders, that's not a reason to charge 3-5x their value in ingredients when other brands are delivering nearly identical products (with perhaps improved performance) for fractions of these prices. If this product were competitively priced, it would be 5 stars easily.

*See Update Below*This is a nice face wash. Just a little lathered into a foamy cleanser that worked nicely to clean my face. That said, I found it to be noticeably scented which I don’t care for in a cleanser. My skin felt clean after use with no other discernible differences.I did not see the price on Amazon but it is currently around $100 at the website. I feel there are a lot of quality face washes on the market at a far lower price point. So that along with the scent are huge drawbacks on this product for me. I also feel the company should add the ingredients list to the product description.*Update - I have been using this face wash for awhile now, alternating it with another brand, and it has really grown on me. No breakouts or irritation. And my skin feels so soft after using it. I really like it. I am upping my review to 4 stars. It would be 5 if it was less expensive.

A clear liquid with no frills but plenty of silk. This cleanser cleans well by removing excessive oils, dead skin cells, make-up and any other gunk you may have on your face. It pumps out as a white foam. You only need a small amount to lather over the entire face. Of course, more if you are trying to remove a lot more layers of things needing cleaned away. There's a very light but clean scent.it seemed to easily spread around and clean my face nice and deeply. However, upon rinsing, I noticed that it took more rinses to wash this substance away. That's when I realized that it contains ingredients meant to be left behind in order to moisturize and hydrate the skin. Must be the silk. Such cleansers always confuse me because I'm never quite sure when to stop rinsing. Of course, I want to rinse away the cleanser, but don't want to rinse away any of the helpful ingredients meant to penetrate and nourish the skin. It almost feels like guess work figuring out when to stop rinsing. Think I got this one right.Afterwards, my skin felt very clean as well as hydrated. Ready to go onto my next level of skincare and go about my day.As nice as this cleanser is, I do think that it's greatly overpriced from what I'm seeing merchants selling this for ($78 plus a 15% off coupon).

I was surprised how much I love this foaming face wash. It did not strip my sensitive dry skin, and works well with removing my daily light makeup. It smells amazing, it is floral-fresh scented and honestly smells like a spa experience every time I wash my face at night. I find myself washing my face a little extra longer than with my other face cleansers because I love the way it feels. The foaming pump creates such a rich, dense micro foam. Feels very luxurious. Overall, highly recommended.

This cleanser is a delight to use. It has an amazing creamy, silky, luxurious feel. It really felt like it was gliding over my skin. One pump is PLENTY. Even though it is so rich, it still rinses off pretty easily. My skin looked and felt great after using.The directions (printed on box) are a bit confusing. The first paragraph (description) clearly states that this is a cleanser meant to remove makeup, oil etc. However, the directions say "massage over clean damp face" (which would imply that you've already removed makeup and done a first cleaning, using this foam as the 2nd cleansing). I did try it both ways and it works fine in each case.

One quality I expect in my face wash is the ability to be able to remove my particularly stubborn long-wear mascara and liner with ease, withOUT stripping the delicate eye area of needed moisture. I usually follow up with toner to insure it washed away every last speck. This facial wash passed my test. It left my face clean, didn't irritate my skin, and left no makeup behind for the toner to catch AND my skin didn't feel tight or dry after. This one is a keeper. It's a must have product for every person looking for clean but not stripped skin.

It's a little pricey in my opinion so that's why I am giving 4 stars. Other than that a good product that works well. It gets my waterproof eye makeup right off. Non irritating and light weight formula. Face wash that gets your face feeling clean and refreshed.
