This is an awesome little vertical garden planter. It isn’t big so make sure the dimensions work for you. You can grow one or two herbs in each pot. I suggest one because they get big fast. It is light and reasonably sturdy. The holes at the bottom of each pot work good for drainage. If you are going to use starter plants, get the smallest size. They grow fast in these pots.If you get ants on your herbs, I recommend sprinkling a little cinnamon on them. The ants hate it and you probably won’t see them the next day. Unfortunately, you have to do this periodically.I am growing basil, sweet banana peppers, parsley, oregano, lemon palm and rosemary with excellent results. My only disappointment was the cucumber plant that started great but something went wrong.I highly recommend this vertical planter but you may need to shop around for a good price. I noticed the prices vary significantly, depending on where you get it.

To be frank — this was more money than I wanted to spend on garden shelves. Last year, I purchased one of those ‘stacking towers’ that was (if memory serves) 5 tiers high with a wheeled base. It wasn’t cheap either, but it ended up being a stupid purchase. I tried growing strawberries in it, and only the plants on top did well.With this planter — every plant on every tier is thriving. The design is better, the construction and materials is better — and unlike other crap I’ve wasted money on — this shelving unit is going to last for awhile. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I was looking forward to getting this and having an herb garden. It was easy to assemble, but was missing one bin hanger so that one bin is unusable.

So easy to set up.. done in minutes and ready for planting!! Took up even less space on my deck balcony than I had thought it would! Love it!

Took me like 8 minutes to assemble, now let’s see if it’s works! Very easy to move very light, it should be heavier once full if it flip I’ll update the review but super happy!

This is a sturdy and easy to assemble/use multi level planter and we love it. The containers are large enough for our needs. We grow mint, spinach, radish and other plants and it works. The metal frame and the mechanism that holds each planter is kind of flimsy. It needs to stay upright for the planter to rest and it’s very difficult to use if the frame is not staying upright. I am hoping it will work again next year after we dismantle this unit during winter.
