The original volcano eye light I still have and use is far superior to the current ones I bought, this box of two lights are for want of a better term rip offs, they distinctly lack clean lines of design and look ugly, they are not brighter than a car tail light the original volcano light I have has 3 levels of brightness and it's blinding on highest level. The rip off version is fixed brightness and dull at that, only semi decent parts are the fixing straps but again I prefer my original mount. I'll only use these if my other light malfunctions. Teach me a lesson not to buy late at night rushing to see what is available. Nice clean white sticker on the corner of the box covering the website address of the volcano eye company and the other corner has a suite address. Should have known better. Don't buy them you will regret don't believe other posts some people write crap.

Bought this light to use as a tail light for my bicycle; I recently got a pannier rack and the bags have a nasty habit of blocking most of the light from my original taillight, so I needed something brighter and a bit more versatile.This light does the job fantastically. It's a nice, well made product, and it's got a little bit of weight to it unlike some of the cheaper lights I've had. It is VERY bright, so I've been happily using it on its lowest/second lowest setting and feel like that's more than enough for what I need, but I imagine the higher settings would come in very handy in fog.It has both a clip so it can be attached to clothing and a thick strap for attaching it to the bicycle itself; I've found it grips the bike extremely tightly and is not going anywhere once its on. The light's ability to rotate either horizontally or vertically on its base comes in really useful too.I've been using it for a few days now and still haven't run out of battery or seen any dimming, so I feel confident in saying it has a good battery life from a full charge, at least when using its lower settings (which are more than enough for normal nights, in my opinion).Overall a fantastic buy, 10/10!

A great light, after a year with it I lost it today, as well as the rubber stretch strap there is a plastic clip which lets you slide it onto a strap or something, decided to mount it this way today as a saddle bag under my seat would obscured it a from higher viewing angles like a van or truck might see when within a few bike lengths behind, so I used the plastic clip to slot it onto a light mounting strap on the saddle bag itself, but somewhere along my ride which had a few just terrible road surfaces it must have bounced off the strap without me noticing until I got home and went to turn it off and it wasnt there... But I had no second thoughts about ordering it again as soon as I got inside as its a great light, but given some of the road conditions near me I'll stick with mounting it with the rubber strap to the seat post from now on which is solid

it fitted on to my seatpost very easy. not sure how it would fit to my helmet or back pack but I havent tried that yet. i looked at the photo instuctions on the amazon page when it arrived and it is very simple to operate. easy to get to the socket to charge it. only 4 stars because ive only used it on one ride so far. if there are no problems in the next fe weeks I will upgrade to 5

Great light until the rubber switch operator came out of its housing, got lost and rendered the light useless.

Really happy with the light. Seems fairly well built and is a good size. Simple to operate with different brightness levels in both flash mode and normal light mode. As others have said, this thing is VERY bright! The highest brightness level hurts your eyes its that bright. Very bright at night and easily seen in daytime too which is great. It has a simple band to attach it to the downpost and seems tight enough to hold it over the bumpiest roads.. Also swivels if needed. It charged fairly quickly too. The usb port has the usual rubber bung which seems to fit well, but not tested in the rain yet so time will tell.. All in all very happy.

A sturdy well made product - very bright during daylight as described, and the rechargeable battery lasts hours and hours in strobe mode - recommended ….

Been researching a rear led light for a while now. I have brought other rear led lights in the past, but all of them feel plasticky and cheap. However when this arrived it was a pleasant surprise. It feels solid and rather weighty. Great led, various modes and incredibly bright on the highest mode. They say never look at the sun directly. Same rules apply to this light. It can be seen from the side as well. (see photos) 100 percent waterproof as it was tested today in a very heavy rain. The only fiddly bit is the attached mount. However you get use to it. The light also goes vertical or horizontal thanks to the rotating mount. Fabulous light, highly recommended. 10 out of 10. 👍
