Smells great and keep nasty pest àway .

I looked through DOZENS of these Cedar Planks, reading review after review of those who claimed the product simply didn't smell of cedar. As I'm putting away my summer clothing, I had to take a chance on one, and I must say these do contain scent, I opened the package and the cedar smell was definitely present. I even took the plastic bag and cut it open and placed in my clothes storage, as it was strong with the cedar smell. The planks were small, as pictures often don't give you the true breadth & scope of these items (one must read the dimensions). I do have sandpaper, so I took the extra measure of sanding them slightly prior to placing them in all places where I store my clothing. I didnt use the included string, instead using metal lamp/key chains. I do not regret purchasing these at all, and when needed, will purchase again.

Not a very strong scent

The media could not be loaded.  This product has 12 bags of cedar pieces at a great price. The bags do contain cedar, as you can see in my photos and video, I opened them up to look. My one star removal lies in my suspicion these bags were soaked, sprayed, or otherwise made contact with cedar oil outside of the oil in the wood pieces. The scent is very strong and the bags feel oily while the wood inside is quite dry and mild smelling. I suspect they added oil to the bags to increase the scent. Unsure how that plays into effectiveness but wanted to share that observation.

The odor is very nice and I use them to pack up my holiday stuff, but have found that the odor doesn't last a whole year. So I just keep using more--don't know what else to do.

I love the size and easy to use. I could only smell them when they all were in the package and when I took one and placed it under my nose.I placed 5 in my small wall-in closet where its been a few days and I can't even smell them. I placed one in a small coat closet and I can't smell that one either.I remember in 1991, I had bought cedar balls from Zayre/Ames for my college storage trunk and the smelled amazing for years. One lite up room like crazy and these don't even have a noticeable smell unless you put it directly up to your nose. I mean literally - you have to put it to your nose to smell it.WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!

The scent of cedar was definitely apparent. Great, just what I expected.

J/k. It smells of rich cedar. Most def helped stop the funk of my daughter’s soccer cleats dead in its tracks though. Good thing, by the way. Before these Cedar Sachets Bags, her cleats smelled like raw sewage. For real.
