Excellent and LARGE pack FOR THE PRICE.
Tired of negative reviews. This is a very good backpack. It cost around $40. Some packs run $200+. So don't buy this & then leave a negative review because it isn't as good as a $250 pack. Duh. For $40 this is a great deal. The pack is very large. Saw a review say it isn't 50L. Must have got the wrong one cause mine was every bit of that. It also comes with 3 additional small packs that are detachable. Very customizable. Overall the pack feels solid. There are threads sticking out of the stiching all over, i just trimmed them back. Didn't affect the pack, just extra thread sticking out. The zippers are large & a bit noisey as another review stated. IT'S A $40 PACK. If you need a pack up to Special Forces standards get a $200+ pack. If you want a big, decent & customizable pack for next to nothing this is a great deal!

Good Product at a Great Price.......So Far
Even though this product is not anywhere near bullet proof, for the low cost, it deserves 5 stars.Based upon the very low price, my expectations was not set high. I just really liked how the bag is set up, and my plan was to use it for local day hikes. So, I did not need high durability. I was most concerned with the comfort, judging by the thin shoulder straps. Well, I was pleasantly surprised when I got this pack. The fabric was much more robust than I figured it would be. The plastic buckles looks flimsy, so time will tell.Filling up the pack, I was very happy with all the different pockets and accesses. I hate the ruck sack design, and having to dig through to get to things. I don't understand what some reviewers are talking about when they claim that this pack is deceptively small. For a day or two in the bush, this pack holds a sufficient amount of gears for me.One day after I received it, I decided to give it a keep try-out to get an idea of how it carries. After fully filling it up and getting all the adjustments to my liking, I took it out for an hour hike into the cold 13F morning. It felt very comfortable, so my concern with the shoulder straps was abated.I will update this review, but as of right now, I am very happy with this product.

... bag and the first one came in with a bad snap on the detachable pouch
I ordered this bag and the first one came in with a bad snap on the detachable pouch. No big deal and I could work around it but I reported to the seller. They said no problem we'll send you a new bag. I assumed they meant the pouch. I asked if they wanted me to return the defective pouch and they said 'no'. So I thought I'd just use it as a new 'go' bag. The UPS man shows up on Friday and I got an ENTIRE new unit. WOW. Now when I worked in sales / customer service this is probably what I would have done but I don't expect it. I will DEFINITELY be ordering from CVLIFE for any of my needs in the future.Awesome customer service folks and thank you.And yes the bag is all I expected to be and more. DEEP main pocket plenty of sides. Quality is good and bag feels sturdy but light.

Very nice pack
I used this pack for a 10 mile day hike up two Adirondack peaks. It is a really nice pack and I would recommend it to others. I packed probably 25 to 30lbs of gear and the pack was comfortable all day. The pack I normally use is too small to carry that much gear and I prefer to be properly prepared if anything goes wrong (i.e. extra water, first aid kit, wet weather gear, etc). I did not use the detachable fanny pack or the waist strap for this trip but I did use the two smaller side packs. Inside of the main compartments there are not any compartments (other than the water bladder compartment) and things can get disorganized. I used the smaller side packs for items that I might need quick access to. The construction is sturdy and the stitching seems to be of reasonable/high quality considering the price point. The only problems I found were that the water bladder outlet was too small and it was difficult, but not impossible, to get the bite valve out of the hole. I did like the two clips for holding the bladder in place, they helped prevent crimping of the water line. The other problem was that the straps loosened as the hike progressed, once I tied them off that was no longer a problem and the pack stayed in place for the rest of the day. Before you use this pack for a full hike load it up with some weight and take it out on a short excursion to get the strap lengths set up and tied off properly or get some clips that will hold the straps in the buckles at your preferred lengths. I don't have a guess as to how much gear this could hold weight wise but it is very roomy and well constructed. The camo pattern is also decent and it could/will be used during hunting season. I would recommend this pack to friends.
