R&R HolstersOWB Kydex Holster for Handguns with Olight PL-Mini 2 Valkyrie 600 Lumen - Matte Black

A great disappointment.
As an instructor and trainer, I have dozens of kydex holsters for various handguns, and I've seen hundreds. I bought this because it was the only holster I could find to fit this particular gun/light combination. I did not expect great, but I was hoping for good. This holster is neither. The molding to the shape of the gun/light is for all intent and purpose, nonexistent. The fit is loose and sloppy with no discernible 'click' for retention. This holster would not last five minutes in a tactical course or deployment, as there is nothing holding the gun in the holster but gravity and the weight of the gun. It is basically a kydex 'bucket' to drop your gun into. Additionally, it is too short and exposes about 3/8" of slide and frame, which is unacceptable. You can see the difference in the photos herein. There is no comparison between it, and the properly molded and constructed holster from Bravo Concealment shown with it. This holster is adequate for storage (covering the trigger and trigger guard), but is wholly unacceptable for carry.

Are you serious?
Bought this holster because I needed to accommodate my Glock 17 Gen 3 with the Olight Valkyrie Mini 2 light on the front. I have bought many things on Amazon and with this I didn't have alot of hope. Kind of thought like a 99% chance it wouldn't fit at all. So I was ready for the disappoinment. But ....That's not the case at all.In fact, this fits my glock and light combination 100% COMPLETELY PERFECT. Not entirely sure what the other reviewers received but mine is super sturdy, has perfect click lock retention from the hump on the light, and has a perfect draw right out of the box/envelope. I am beyond amazed on how perfect this holster is and exceeded my expectations beautifully. No hang ups on the belt loops either. This way made by someone who really loves their craft and it shows. I highly recommend this holster and plan to buy another and ANOTHER in the future for other pistols. I wonder what they have for Ruger LCP?GREAT HOLSTER GUYS AND THANK YOU!

Weapon and Olight Tactical fit as advertised... however.....
The unit is well made and the weapon and olight tactical light fit as advertised. However, the holster in current form is NOT something I would recommend for your every day carry. The reason? The holster does not lock the weapon into place at all. There is no mechanism to hold the weapon should you lean over or worst case, someone come up and grab for it.. There is no retention mechanism built into the thing.I am keeping mine and modifying it myself.. I will be adding a nylon strap that is both button and velcro to keep the weapon in the holster should I need to bend over, run or someone tries to just grab and go with it. My suggestion to the company that makes this brand is to add some kind of retention system to this design... if you do, this could easily be a top contending holster as otherwise it is very comfortable for wearing on the belt and it does form nicely to the weapon and tactical light. Finally, one area this holster IS great for is range shooting and fast tactical shooter training being it is very easy to slide your weapon in and out of.. It holds the weapon snug just fine but as stated, as long as you do not bend over, lay down etc, it will stay in the holster fine.

This holster is no joke.
I was alittle skeptical on the purchase of this holster going off of previous reviews. This holster is nothing but superior quality a snug fit with a positive click when inserting your Sig 2022. I own several Sig's with holsters made by reputable dealers, this holster is definitely on par with my other ones if not better. Only complaint the fit is a little snug requiring a pretty forceful draw I'm sure this will get better overtime. Your weapon is not going to fall out bending over. Far as that goes walking on your hands it's not falling out. The sweat guard does not come to that end of the pistol but that is not an issue with me. I would highly recommend this holster without any hesitation. Ret. 1sgt USA

Great value holster!
**Modifying my original review. The kydex is flimsier than I originally thought. The fit isn't get good either, I could put it in gently, push further for a click, push further again, and again, and again! It isn't a good fit so it is sketchy to draw and holster and also questionable retention :( **I do have a R&R Paddle holster that I ALSO really DON'T like because of how flimsy the kydex and attachment points feel....

Glock 20 with a Olight PL Mini 2
Works fine, as described/reviewed elsewhere. I have the model for a Glock 20 with a Olight PL Mini 2. No quality issues; good retention; and trigger protection. Though not the same tight fit without the light, the holster retains the gun with the Olight removed and is suitable for my open carry usage/behavior.

Not worth it, spend a few extra bucks on better quality.
I got the holster for m G19, suppressor height sights, threaded barrel, optic etc etc. well.. I read a bunch of the reviews before buying and I did what most have probably done. Just said screw it because it seems to be 50/50 with the feedback. I’m here to tell you, take the positive portion of the “50/50” and let it fly away. The holster won’t hold the G19 when it is turned upside down ie. Zero retention. If there was a second form of retention and I was choosing to not use one of the two and it was causing it to be so easy pulled from the holster I wouldn’t complain. But the holster doesn’t holster!! Ya live and ya learn.

Scratched Firearm & Not Secure
I bought this holster because it was literally the only holster I could find to fit my Taurus G3 with the O-light mini. When I put my gun in the holster, it was not secure and falls out easily. I put it on my belt as the instructions said to do and same thing. I probably placed it in the holster 10 times and in doing so it scratched my gun which is pretty new. I am disappointed by the functionality of this holster and it is on its way back for a return.
