The colors are gorgeous, the texture is very pleasant to work with. I saw a lot of complaints about the variation in thickness, color, etc. I did see a definite variation in the yarn thickness, just as the seller describes and is consistent with hand-made natural fiber yarn vs machine-made synthetic yarn. It's a lovely textural dimension to work with and I didn't find it unpleasant or difficult to work with or in the finished project. The colors were bright and consistent through all the skeins I purchased, IN TWO DIFFERENT ORDERS, so these were separate dye lots for sure. I can't attest to the colorfastness as I haven't washed this yet, but I'll update the review if anything unexpected happens. Unlike prior 100% wool I've crocheted with; this doesn't smell awful or at all really, it isn't making me itch, and it's remarkably tangle resistant during the bulk between skein and project/hook. Sharp folks might notice my hook is larger than recommended, but due to eyesight and carpal, this works for me, and as you can see, the change works just fine. I bought this yarn because of the vibrant colors. It was great for the project I was working on which was crocheting (then felting) coasters and hot pads. It is very thin yarn so, I used double strands which worked out perfectly.

This yarn is pretty standard basic wool. It's single ply and very easy to work with. The color is stunning. The way it worked up for a sweater in my size(large-ish) was that the color changed each row. Took about ten balls for a standard four panel boxy sweater. Super impressed.

The color is nice and it’s soft. But the images seem very exaggerated. I was expecting a more medium weight yarn in a bigger ball like shown in images by the seller. Like this yarn is super duper thin like and thick embroidery floss… I’m gonna keep it but pay better attention to the human reviews next time I shop yarn.

I really LOVE this yarn.The characteristics are just right for my tastes.-The wool is soft but not overly delicate or prone to splitting. The yarn twist is characteristic of fine sock weight roving yarn.-It is economically priced with high quality colors. The beautiful self stripping rainbow sequence is one I enjoyed with this yarn. It is not constantly the same length striping which the reduces pooling effects I like to avoid but if you are trying to create two identical socks or want to match stripes on sleeves and the body of a sweater you will need to do some creative knitting.-The wool knitted up lightweight compared similarly warm and fuzzy yarns making the hand of the fabric very fluid and with great drape. The piece pictured is double knit, gauge 4 inches square equals 18 stitches by 24 rows front and back. The whole knitted piece used 6 skeins and weighs 300 grams. Very light but warm, a combination I enjoy.

Pretty colors, but this yarn is made up of knotted together small lengths making it difficult to work with.

This yarn is amazing! Personally I'm not to crazy for wool myself but it's so hard to find a good quality AND well dyed rainbow yarn that's consistent. This one has blown my mind because from the one spool to the other it was COMPLETELY consistent---lined up perfectly! I've crocheted my whole life, even as a child, and I have legitimately NEVER seen a yarn that does that. Maybe I just got lucky and the two pack I happened to get both ended and started on the same colors/fade but regardless I will be buying this again! The thickness is inconsistent but the nice thing is that despite that I have no issues in my lines being straight nor uneven bulky lines/edges. I'll include close ups on the areas that go from really thick to nearly thread like so you can see :) Once again, to sound like a broken record, this is seriously AMAZING yarn and I'm completely crazy about it even though I don't like wool nor working with wool!!!The one thing I'll disagree with other reviewers on here with is that, while it is still slightly softer then other wools, it's still not soft wool like some kind have made it seem. Though, once again, I'm by no means a wool person so I dont have as much reference/experience as others who use it exclusively.10/10 if possible! Good job to the company and employees!

the color scheme is awesome, if you like it... it is soft. it is one ply but will split a bit. if you pull, it will tear - like roving. but it is lovely to crochet. actually my 2nd buy. will probably buy again.

the yarn is lovely but the ball shows shades of blue and tehres random white and purple in it, not what i wanted, and since both balls have the blue on the outside its very misleading.

I didn’t see the reviews until after I had received this- it’s very misleading to show a set of colours and a totally different colour at the end in the selling picture- I didn’t even see the different colour until I checked back later. See pic attached- i only intend to use the purples and pinks for this project so have removed that awful dark gray. I don’t know if I’d ever use it- it’s a horrible colour. Even white would have been a hell of a lot better.
