256GB is in fact only 230GB
I recently purchased two 256GB memory devices and after unpacking both discovered that they were formatted using the FAT system and showed a maximum capacity each of just 230GB. I subsequently formatted them with the NTFS system under Windows 10 and the same capacity showed on both. So, I'm not complaining as such but when I pay for 256GB I expect to be sold 256GB - how come both devices can only safely access 230GB and where is the 26GB on both sticks?Okay, I know that when these things are manufactured they are made with estimated memory capacity and if a device fits a certain measure they package it in a certain way, but to package 230GB sticks as 256GB devices is actually technically a violation of the consumer act in regards to misrepresentation of goods. If you're happy to accept 230GB per 256GB stick, then purchase these, otherwise, buyer beware!

Went extremely slow then failed. Can't return it: some personal data got written before it failed!
Like some others I found that this device went really slow and then failed completely. Unfortunately I had written about 40GB of data to it by that point. Now, when I plug the device in, the red light flashes for a while then hardware errors are reported and the light goes out. It would have been good value for money if it had worked.Unfortunately I can't return it because some or all of the personal data written thus far might be recoverable using appropriate forensic tools. Therefore I guess I'll have to put this purchase down to experience ... of course, this means that it was very bad value for money as far as I'm concerned :-(

RUBBISH
Everything that this stick does it does with a delay.Firstly plug it into PC and theres about a 15 second delay before it accessible.Try copying some files to it. There is a delay of 20 seconds before it begins to copy. After the transfer windows shows complete - but it is not yet finished until another 20 seconds or so - still locked and still flashing...Right click for properties and long wait.It even locks up the rest of my machine sometimes until its finished doing its background thing whatever that is.Cheap yes but nasty.

Looks like I got a dud
Something odd was going on with this particular sample. The first gigabyte of any copy raced along, then progress crawled. For example, copying a GB of data took ~2 minutes, but as a test re-copying that same data then took ~22 minutes. Reformatting didn't help, so I had to return it for a refund. Pity, because I've had Integral USB sticks in the past and they've been fine.

Broke within an Hour!
I had just transferred over a copy of my most sensitive data to this flash drive when the red light in it suddenly dimmed and the drive was no longer being recognised by my computer. I checked that the problem was not my computer by inserting other flash drives, which were still working as normal and being recognised by my computer. I don't feel that I can return it to the people who sold it to me to get a replacement, because it's still got a copy of my sensitive data on it and I cannot get it off the flash drive because my laptop won't recognise it so I can delete it - which makes this a very expensive purchase mistake for me. Very disappointed!

Value for money memory stick.
I use this to store movies, which we then watch via a socket on the back of the TV. I only mention that because the first time I used it I ended up losing the tiny little protection cap down the back of the TV stand. It doesn’t stay in place properly and falls off too easily. While that doesn’t affect the performance of the product it is annoying, and the cap is there for a reason so should be more durable.Other than that the stick performs well and is good value for money. It’s about average in terms of transfer speed, and has been very reliable since purchase.

Fail
Had problems with this soon after getting it, with error messages coming up trying to read back files. Tried a complete slow format which seemed to work. Used it over a period of 3 weeks doing backups, then one day it completely failed with computer saying it needed to be formatted. Same message on other computers.Thought Integral was supposed to be a good make. Paid a but more for this but it is clearly inferior quality and would be better of buying cheap generic brands. Sending it back.

not compattable
i bought this after asking alexa which usb stick i would need to connect to my brand new lg smart tv for recording. she recomended a 64gb or above with 3.0 . after formatting this to the tv i tried to record a programme and a message appeared on the screen telling me that the external usb device is not compattable. as ive removed the product from its sealed packaging i guess i wont get a refund of my 24 quid. im not suggesting this is a bad product in any way, only that it wasnt suitable for my LG49NANO816.
