Attic-Ease Pull Rod - Brass

I ordered silver and received gold. It bothers me that I would have to go out and spend time sending this back to get the right item when it's such a low priced item. It's not worth the time for something so cheap. I wish I would have received the right item in the first place. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars because it appears functional.

I have an attic entry in the hall way of my home. (very visible) I did not like the rope cord hanging down so I got this hook and eye system. NO MORE ROPE DANGLING! Yipeeee. It looks great and I keep the pole in the closet that is next to the attic ladder (It comes with a small cup hook so you can hang the pole if you want - but I just stuck it in my umbrella stand in the closet.

Once we got the right color shipped to us, we love it. Looks so much better than the old-school string hanging down in the hallway. It is very easy to install, and its nice that it comes with a hook to hang the pull rod on. We keep it in the hall closet next to the attic door. Very convenient and looks great. Neighbors have asked about it and have gotten their own.

Neat little gadget and good quality. I ordered pewter and that's what was sent. Thought about making this on my own but for $25 I thought what's the point and this one would look way better than a DIY :-) Husband thought it was neat too. Hook was installed on the attic door in less than 2 minutes.

The product seems to be well made, and did install very easily. It also looks night and day better then the old rope I had hanging from my attic door. My only complaint is that I ordered a brass set, but I received a CHROME/SILVER set. I didnt want to return it to get the "proper" one that I ordered. Just too much hassle.It still looks nice, but would have ultimately had the brass over the chrome.

Way better than the nylon pull cord we had, which my wife and daughter had trouble with. Very functional and looks nice too. We hang the pole in the hall closet very close to the attic pull down stairs. Works perfectly.

I was thrilled to find this item as I thought it would be difficult to locate one. Well made, light and allows you to pull down attic stairs without any effort. I bought the pewter and it looks just wonderful. Great Purchase!

Received the brass instead of the stainless. But who cares. It lets you get rid of the ugly cord hanging from the ceiling. A big improvement.
