Start with the bad: There's no memory, if you turn the power off (unplug) the light strip it will return to the brightest setting, the default. Be nice if the default was dim or it remembered the brightness setting so when switched by the monitor power it would always be at the correct light level.The good: Flexible enough to attach to the bottom of my Neo G9 monitor providing great light for the desktop and keyboard. Easy connection via USB. The light does not flicker. The provided sticky tape is strong enough to keep it attached to the plastic bottom of the monitor. The wire clips, also with the sticky tape, work well at holding the cable (a bit too large/stiff) out of the way or hidden on the back of the monitor.

So far so good. Last one lasted a year, this one seems better made.

The media could not be loaded.  When I first plugged it in I was so happy for how bright it was and the cable and switch looks very quality not like a cheap piece of garbage. Especially for the price.I have been testing this fluorescent acrylic and I made this little sign without a full plan of how to light it. I figured I could easily find the parts I needed but it’s a hassle to figure out the led strip plus the power source.My cut piece was 11” and this strip here is 1’ and has the power and a switch.. it’s absolutely perfect.The base was made in one shot just based off measuring.. needs some refinement but I’m super happy and has solved the hardest part of this project.Will be ordering more so I can make some gifts for friends.Video was taken during the day with blinds closed.

The light are nice and bright the only problem is I must turn them on after a power failure.

I needed just a little more light for my keyboard but didn't want to spend a ton. This light is wonderful! It sticks up under the riser and the extra tabs helped to keep the cord out of the way of the riser mechanics. The light isn't blinding or anything. The one touch mechanic doesn't means me searching in the dark either. Recommended for WFH or just in areas where you need a little more light.

My husband made me a light box several years ago. The lights he installed then needed to be replaced. I ordered this inexpensive light strip and it works perfectly. The LED lights give off more lights that the original ones I had. It can be plugged into a computer, or by using the included adapter, you can plug it into an electrical wall outlet. It does need to be plugged in; there are no batteries. It works very well for my application.

The strip puts out alot of light for such a small strip.
