Not recommended.
This is a horrible portrayal of the prophet. It’s difficult, only historical and doesn’t tell what the prophet really was doing or planned or what were his teachings. The print of this book is even smaller. It lacks the element of spirituality and divine love, that a book on the prophet must bring necessarily. No ...... I’m surprised why many people liked it. Perhaps for the lack of a better book in English on the same subject .May the prophet peace be upon him , and Allah ordain for a better book to be written..... for those who want to know and through reading must be blessed in these troubled times. Also the print is too small to not strain one’s eyes.

This is a great book. Beautifully written
I was looking for a book to get an understanding on the life of Muhammad (pbuh) and the religion which is amongst the most stereotyped, and of which I actually knew so little. And this was a great book.Beautifully written. Nicely structured. And there is a lot new to find there. I'm glad to have across it in the first go itself.

A must read book for people who want to know about Muhammad (PBUH)
It is a great book. As you read this book you will understand the kind of hard work which Mr. Martin has put. It gives a in-depth knowledge about that period. Mr Martin must have done a great research. ...... I love this book. I have presented it to my son who is 10 years........As it will give him a good knowledge about Islam and Muhammed. It is a book which should be in everyone's home.....and should be read quite often ....I had got it from library but then I decided to buy one so that I can read it quite often.

Concise History for Readers Looking to Learn
Beautiful book. Sublime and transcendental writing. Covers the subject's life thoroughly. Very well researched. Very objective, which is rare; also means those who follow him & have rigid uninformed views might be surprised with what they discover; but nonetheless, exceptionally well written. Must read for those interested in the life of the Prophet.Decent page quality, average to fair binding. The book has a helpful (but not very extensive map in the beginning) along with a tribe/ family tree that will help readers unfamiliar with Islamic history.
