I'm really liking it so far. It's working well for me. It smells kind of like rancid kitchen oil. I've never used castor before, so not sure if that is what it is supposed to smell like or not. I like what it's doing for my skin and it appears to have reduced the wrinkles on the backs of my hands. I think I look a little younger since I started using it, but no one else has commented! So it might be my imagination...but I have this huge jar so I will continue to use it.Update 3-26-17: Have been using this on my hair once a week also to help with thinning that occurred with thyroid issues. Haven't notice thicker hair yet, but holy cow is this amazing for removing dry scalp and buildup. The first time I put it on and started combing through with a fine tooth comb I couldn't believe the huge flakes of skin coming off of my scalp. (At least I think it was skin - could be product buildup too). It was actually kind of horrifying - but at least it's getting rid of it.But it gets better....The other day my mother commented on how great my thryoidectomy scar looked. I reached up to touch it and - holy crap - I couldn't feel it! This scar is several years old and very pronounced on one end. Because I have RA and had to stop meds for surgery - I was anxious to restart them. I started back on those drugs 2 weeks earlier than I should have, so the scar never finished healing properly. Now I hadn't been treating it per se, however sometimes when applying to my face I also rub the CO down onto my neck. Well without even realizing it, it has been healing that years old, raised, red scar. It is now flat (used to have a big bump on one side-keloid perhaps?) and much lighter in color and is barely perceptible when running my hand down my neck. I am definitely a happy camper with this unexpected benefit. Luckily I had ID photos taken that show the scar well, so I'm adding those as well as a photo taken today.

I’ve been in the progress of growing back my disastrous eyebrows and this is actually making that seem possible. I started usuaing castor oil a couple times a week 6mo ago and already we seeing results of hair growing back. I was so enrolled, I began putting this on every night before bed about 2-3 months ago and have seen significant improvements just from that simple increase.This stuff works. I bought it on a deal but I’d recommend regardless because it will last you a while. I even started using this for hair masks to help my hair grow too.Ps- a shampoo I just got into is by Shae Moisture. It’s natural and one line has castor oil in it. Some people have asked if these products by them are made for African American hair but it’s for all hair types.

I used this oil before this back up shampoo that is known to dry and tangle my hair. Without the oil my hair because very tangled, like a birds nest, I am not able to even finger comb it. Since I knew this shampoo would do this, and I ran out of the good stuff, I put this oil in my hair before washing and let it sit for a while. I shampood my hair and my fingers slid right thru it, and combing it was easy also. I am not sure of the exact purpose of the oil but that is enough for me. I have used it on my dry, natural hair (transitioning 4 months post relaxer) and it is not heavy so I dont mind using it before I comb my dry hair either.

This brand of castor oil is GREAT! If you have never used castor oil before, it's a thicker oil, not super thick, and it has done wonders for my over processed naturally curly hair. I still straighten my hair once in a while but mainly wear it curly. I wash my hair once every week and a half. Everyday, while in the shower, I "shampoo" my hair with conditioner only. I put a quarter size amount of regular sulfate free conditioner in my wet hair & about 5 or 6 drops of castor oil and run it through my hair with my hands. (My hair is short/medium length, hitting at my shoulders) Most of the time I let my hair air dry but I also use a babybliss diffuser when I need my hair done quick. Castor oil has completely saved my hair. It grows alot quicker and fast. It helps with breakage due to naturally curly hair and getting it dyed, flat ironing... I've never had any problems with castor oil blocking my pores.

I had been searching for natural hair products, and I finally decided to try this. I was very happy with the results. On u-tube, there was an individual who was cautioning buyers to purchase another brand, as this one was imported. I hesitated, and purchased the other product. It was not as effective as this one. My hair goes through dry spells. I try not to use the hair dryer, but with my busy life, sometimes I have to have a hair dryer for saving time. I am in my seventy-fifth year, and my hair looks good, and I get lots of compliments. I use this product when my hair is appearing stressed, and it delivers each time. I put the product in my hair at night, and cover it with a plastic cap. The next morning I wash, and condition my hair with my sulfate free products, and it looks amazing!! The photo is the third day, and there is less curl, as I haven't rolled it yet. I am about to order another bottle, as it lasts a long time. A good price for a great product.

I cannot believe that for under $10 I grew my eyelashes back with this oil! I put it on twice a day, morning and night, on my entire eye area. It has even reduced my puffiness on my upper eyelids. I have applied it on my eyebrows too- and that helped with hair growth as well! I love this oil! It is incredible! 😍 It has also cleared up my face when I apply it as a moisturizer.I simply love it, it has removed all the dryness. I also like the pump they include, so easy to dispense. I highly recommend this product- it is not watery- not junk, it has a very slight sticky feel to it which helps with my hair frizzies and helps to style it too. Where has this oil been all my life LOL?! I cannot live without it now... I can tell it is very high quality, and such a great price for this BIG 16 oz bottle-Simply awesome!!! 💗
