City slicking dapper fresh
I purchased the Cavilier clay and I will say this product is true to its word which is why I’m giving it 5 Stars . Monster hold, Natural finish. While this product is hard to apply if you take a little bit at a time and rub your hands it does the trickPros- holds all day, hair feels thicker, true to word on natural finishCon- harder to apply , harder to wash off and I hate the stupid picture of this zebra with hair. What’s that about. Overall while I do prefer a little more shine to my hair the product works fine and last. I included a picture of it being first applied and end of day. Enjoy the solid review.

Thick, Wavy Hair? BluMaan’s Cavalier!
I have Thick, WAVY hair. I blow dry my hair and while it looks nice and straight while it’s immediately dry, every product I’ve used gives away. This is the only product I’ve tried that tells my hair what to do. I’ve used Gummy gel, Layrite’s Cement Clay, Suavecito. Great products, but never tamed my hair the way Cavalier does. The fact that it’s a clay opposed to a Pomade may not be the best comparison.Application? Rough if it’s your first time using a clay like it was for me. Make sure you rub it into your hands til your hands are hot, and you’ll have no problem. Honestly, a little goes a long way.Hold? GREAT! Holds all day, and you can rework it if a pesky hair decides to get out of line.Look? My hair looks matte and natural, I apply it and style it without a comb and I don’t see the need for It personally.Cavalier is the best hair product I’ve ever used, hands down!

Good hold, smells AWFUL
This is a very thick product with good hold. Once you break it down you can get it in dry hair and it will hold all day. It's not a creamy clay but hard as a rock. Some of the newer clays are creamy and actually work well but this stuff is rock hard when you try to scoop it out but has a high hold and matte finish. However, this is the WORST smelling clay I have ever tried. It's so bad I just couldn't use it again as I would smell it on me all day and want to vomit. If they change the smell, it might be my go-to clay but I'm not buying this again.

Hands down the best product for thick, wavy, frizzy hair. WATCH THE VIDEO.
After discovering how well clays work to control my thick, wavy, frizzy hair, I've been trying a bunch of different brands to find which works the best. This is it. Perfectly controls my hair all day, easily washes out, and has a great fragrance (some have said it smells like coconut, I personally think it smells more like beeswax) that isn't overpowering. If you've never used a clay before, I HIGHLY recommend watching BluMaan's YouTube video about how to properly use clays. If you don't apply it properly, you won't like it. Of all the clays I've tried, this one also leaves the least residue on my hands if I adjust my hair throughout the day. This happens with all good clays, but if it is definitely worth it. The bottom of the container being stamped was also very reassuring of the product being genuine.

Best clay, great hold
I've tried them all. No joke. Even the $60 M3. This has worked the best for me and lasted longer than any of the other clays I've tried. I have thick, straight hair about 5"-6" on top. If you have hair that length, you know it's tough to get a good hold or volume. I got it from the Cavalier. I wasn't compensated for this or anything, just being honest. Also, you really really REALLY don't need to use much at all. Start with VERY little if you're looking to get volume. If you use too much it makes your hair heavy because of the quality of the product and actually brings it down and takes the volume away. If you're just looking to slick it back, then use as much as you like. If you want volume, but still want the matte look and strong hold, this is the best product on the market in my opinion. I'm being serious when I say I've tried many. Probably 30-35 different types. This is the best by far.

Freaking fantastic product!
Excellent hold on my thick hair! I have a disconnected undercut with about 4-5" long hair that I typically slick back. I've used a few clay styling products(Aveda and Kevin Murphy) and have never been overly thrilled with getting them evenly into my hair, their open/working time, or their hold throughout the day. This product seemed a little thicker in the jar and heavier on my hand, but went into my hair smoothly and evenly and had enough open time for me to style properly. I feel pretty confident that this will quickly become my go-to styling product!

Best Clay I've Used Thus Far!
My favorite Blumaan product thus far. I've tried the Original by Blumaan, but I felt that sometimes it wouldn't fully emulsify. However, the Cavalier Clay has been easier to emulsify and work through my thick and wavy hair, which I style into a quiff (about 3 inches on top). I appreciate that it provides enough support to keep my hair in place for the entire day, while still being pliable enough for me to rework my hair at any time throughout the day. It is also easier to wash out compared to Baxter's clay.

Clay that is almost rock.
Update: I've been using this for a few weeks now. It's still super tacky during application, but it does have very good hold and gives my hair a nice sleek matte appearance. Probably not the easiest to rinse out with just water, but oh well. With short-ish to medium length hair you really don't need to use much at all. I was just expecting it to be a little easier to apply for paying almost double the price of AC Fiber, but I'll raise my rating to 4 stars since the end results are still pretty good and what really matters.Original: This stuff is pretty good once you get in into your hair. I have short to medium length hair. Have been using American Crew Fiber, but it was pretty greasy and would be flat not too long into the day. This stuff almost smells like playdough and is nearly hard as a rock. Feels like your putting gum in your hair. Even when trying to warm it up I feel like I am about to pull skin off my hands. Once it's in your hair it does pretty well, but until that point I feel like I'm going to pull hair out. The video reviews for this product show this being easier to apply. Not sure if I got an old batch or what, but the seller for my order was Wholesale Outlet US. Think I will try something else next time. For double the price of AC Fiber I expected a little better.
