I am usually pretty lazy in writing reviews, but this is one item I failed to understand what the manufacturer is thinking when designing this product. The scissor itself cuts fine, but the finger holes are WAY too small for any adult to sly in to operate it properly when in used. If you are making a scissor, don't we all put our fingers in through the holes to operate the instrument?

Super sharp and surprisingly high quality for the price. This product makes trimming the hair between my tiny puppy's footpads quick and relatively easy and keeps her from tracking dirt into the house. Mind you, it still requires patience and care not to cut her accidentally, but the rounded points help to prevent injury. As a result, my rather tightly wound Schnoodle puppy now sleeps through most of it!These shears are also excellent for trimming around her face and even inside her ears. I would recommend these for any pet owner looking to do any fine detail trimming.I have also used them on my fussy, spoiled, 22lb. Norwegian Forest Cat to remove knots in his spider silk fine 4" long coat that other shears only pull and tangle. A literal first where before it was next to impossible without two brave souls to help me.

I had been using scissors that were part of a trimmer kit and decided to upgrade. I tried these for the first time to trim our dog's paws. It was almost a pleasure! The scissors worked very well, were very sharp, and felt safe to use. Highly recommended.

I’ve got a 6 month old tiny squiggly, very wiggley Yorkie velociraptor who isn’t too keen on my clipping by her eyes..or anywhere else for that matter. and these had a smooth movement instead of that metal on metal scrape sound-so she wasn’t nervous... I held onto her chinny chin chin Yorkie-beard and cradled her head and moved in close to get the hairs closed to the inside of her eyes. And... drum roll... she just let me do it! The rounded ends sometimes equal “dull” scissors and I need this to be safe and swift. These are beautiful-come with an excellent and functional case so you’ll look like a pro and extra finger guards. Yeah.. I don’t ever want to lose these. Even routine clipping hair between her footpads- she just let it happen-they’re quiet-which is important when sneaking up on tiny velociraptors.

Good value for the money cut well and smoothly. I am not a pro but have four dogs that require regular grooming. With COVID our groomer hasn’t been able to get them in in a timely manner so in order to prevent matting etc I am grooming from home in between. The cut is smooth and hairs do not slip through like they did with retail store brands. Also really like the adjustable tension and the fact that it is a tension knob and not done with a screwdriver. Have only used once. Will update if I find there is any reason for a change.

I liked everything about this purchase. The scissors are stainless steel with removable Comfort Ring Rubbers and an extra pair which I did not expect. The actual cutting area is about 2 inches and the total size of 4.5 " is accurate. I use these to cut around my Bichon's face and feet. The snap close case is really nice. These scissors remind me of a pair of professional hair scissors I bought in the 80's that are still in perfect condition. I feel like this is the same quality of scissors and am extremely happy with my purchase.

The tip of these scissors are not sharp enough to cut the dog’s fur around the eyes. Basically useless and very disappointing given the hefty price.
