My grand daughter laid in bed staring at her stars for 15 min before falling off to sleep!

I love it. It looks great both my grandsons love itAge 4 year and one is 10 months. All the starsAll the great colors. But the charge does not lastVery long at all That’s the only bad part.

I was really excited when I found this star lamp, mainly because it had such a long timer. I already had a different star lamp, but it needed to be reset every four hours. That got exhausting because my kids would wake up to a dark room and were afraid.When we set this lamp up, it was quite flimsy and it came with two different star charts that are inter-changeable. However, the globe doesn't tilt or move in any way other than the inside spinning, so the stars stay on about a third of the ceiling and walls, whereas the one I replaced covered the entire ceiling if I tilted it a bit. Even tilting this one didn't cover the entire ceiling, and the lighting was quite dim, so it really doesn't work well as a night light. There's also the issue that the star chart loosens as it spins, causing a horrible rattling noise that is quite irritating. It goes on nonstop and requires tightening often. The timer, although quite long, has to be reset after it shuts off rather than staying set until you decide to change it.While the stars and moon are cool to look at, all in all, it was disappointing enough that I will be looking for a replacement sooner than later. You know what they say, "You get what you pay for". Well, I did, indeed, get what I paid for. It was not only cheap, but even its plastic will be easy for a child to do considerable damage to it. Just a small touch and it can tear very easily in the wrong hands.

The media could not be loaded.  The different functions globe are neat. I like that it’s not so bright where it feels like it will keep you up everything about. It is great other than the fact that it makes this weird sound when it spins. I tried everything to reduce the sound.

UPDATE: I have now gone through four of these, unfortunately. My kids love them so much (they each have their own) but they keep breaking - specifically, the rotating motor. I was able to get a return/replacement for one of them, but I've been screwed into buying more (because, several nights of hell-bent-on-having-them-work-or-we-refuse-to-sleep children....) I have tried to take one apart to see if I could repair the motor myself, but had no such luck - so, on I go to purchase more - because I value the no-fight sleeping more than my wallet...We have two of these - one for our 6-year-old boy and one for our 2-year-old girl. They both LOVE them and sleep GREAT with them running! We first purchased one for our son who has dark issues and it helps him fall asleep more easily. Our daughter started to notice it when she turned one, so we got one for her room, too, and now, all I have to do is talk to her about the "pretty stars" and she is ready to go to bed! She will lay quietly and stare at them every night (and during nap time!) and drifts off to sleep happily without making a peep! Not sure about the battery life, because we keep them both plugged in in their rooms all night, but we have used them for nap times away from home for an hour or two with no issues not being plugged in.

The media could not be loaded.  I think this night light is beautiful. Super simple to assemble. I did not charge the night light. I used a cord to plug into the wall without a problem.You can change the colors or set it so the colors keep changing. It displays beautiful stars and other shapes. My night light came with two different options or you can use both at the same time. There's a timer. The stars can rotate or stay still.

Just wish I didn't have to hold the time button so long to get it to stay on all night, also would be nice if it also did music.

Work really well. Stars all around the room. You can change the colors as you will. Love it.
