Mainstays 6 Drawer Dresser, White Stipple

Okay so here’s a few thing that I would’ve liked to have known. This product is heavy. That’s to be expected from a whole dresser, but you may or may not have to help your delivery driver because it can be a 2 man carry, ESPECIALLY if you live on anything other than the first floor. It did arrive fairly early, about 5-6 earlier than expected. This product is not easy to assemble. Yes it had everything I needed and clear instructions (for the most part) but you will need a drill, a cross tip screwdriver will not do the job. I tried to use one and after screwing in all of the metal pieces to the side (1/4 of the way done) I had a huge bruise in my palm, because you have to apply a lot of pressure.I just stopped and waiting for the next day so my husband could help. Save yourself the head ache and use a drill. You have to pay a lot of attention when it comes to the metal pieces, they look pretty similar but installing the correct ones makes a difference on the drawer slipping in or not. And lastly, this dresser is very short. I’m 5’8 and it doesn’t even reach my hips. That’s probably my bad for not reading the dimensions tho. Very cute once finished, definitely worth the $186.

I like the way this looks but the material that is made of looks cheap, some of the things to assemble are made out of plastic.. one broke and I haven’t been able to finish setting it up. I tried contacting the company to buy the part that broke but they said to return the whole thing which is imposible after hours of setting it up and throwing the box away.. I wish the part that broke was made out of metal I hope I find something to fix it. The handles are also plastic and look very cheap.

The dresser is really nice looking. It is a lot of parts to put together, so might take some time if you dont have a drill. The only reason I am giving it 5 stars instead of 4 is because the drawers are not big enough. I feel I can barley hold any clothes in them. Also, the drawers do not open smooth, they are a little rough to open. But it will get the job done. Just be mindful if you want something bigger and have lots of room for clothes I would look into another dresser.

It came scratched and chipped.The quality is really cheap. I just had to stay with this purchase as I had to quickly organize my space and I didn’t want to bother my self with return and wait for another one.It took a lot of time to assemble.The drawers aren’t deep so it’s not really convenient to use it. It’s heavy but not sturdy. The corners are really sharp and I constantly get lights scratches on my hands. However it does its job. If you don’t expect a lot and you are lucky to get your item undamaged - it’s ok. For me, it’s just a drawers dresser for a couple of years until I need to move otherwise it just doesn’t worth to pay for its movement and I don’t think it will survive.

Es un mueble precioso, pero tiene cierto grado de complejidad no podría armarlo a mano totalmente pues tiene muchas piezas que requieren suficiente presión. Y una vez armado hay que tener cuidado con que cada pieza debe estar en su lugar correctamente.

I Saw a lot of reviews saying this dresser was hard to assemble. It wasn't difficult just time consuming. The only negative is there are no extra pieces you drop or misplace a part it's over! Once assembled my GF loved it and it is an extremely nice dresser for the price.

I love it. I just wish the drawers were a little deeper for more space but it does exactly what it needs to do so I’m happy with it! And it’s super cute and goes with the white theme of my bedroom

To be honest I don't even know where to start. Who was the project manager ? This dresser need up date like now. You can not move the dresser on the floor because the bottom don't have protection. So you can't move on the carpet or on the tile. Like you see on the pictures I add some type of screws and plastic edge to make the dresser working and now is very easy to move around. Also the + screws on the bottom be better to put on inside because make more easy to put together. I know is while ago when I buy it but I finished today to put the together. So I'm asking you to pay me 30% back from the price I pay because I'm very handy women and telling you how to make it better. Email me [email protected]
