I've used hair powder like this in the past before dying my hair a muted copper. It wasn't until after changing my color that I realized how few red head hair powders are out there to hide my gray roots between dyes. I tried the Clairol root spray, which worked ok, but was too brown and made a mess. It's also not portable.This is portable, has a teeny mirror, and blends into my hairline and roots effortlessly. It looked too brown in the container, but applies a natural reddish copper brown. It's warm toned, so if you have a cooler toned red, it might not work. It's still worth a try for the convenience though.Highly recommend, this is now a permanent part of my beauty routine!

I am very self conscious of the thin hair at my hairline, especially because I have fair skin that contrasts my auburn hair. A quick tap-tap with this and the thinness is less conspicuous, at least under forgiving light.

As someone who uses serums and only gained a little back on my deep hairline, I am so thankful for this product. I feel self conscious every time I wear my hair up, but this helps!
