I missed the part in the advertisement where this will not fit the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. It really does not fit. I was told by the company that I can get an adapter for the Surface Pro 3 for an additional $20 plus shipping. That will give me a total price of almost $70 for a working Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tripod mount. If you are considering alternatives, you may want to look the total cost. Not sure what I plan to do. I can return this item to Amazon for credit and purchase a different mount or bite the bullet on the adapter...I modified the mount with parts purchased at Home Depot. Total cost was about $3.00 for the modification. I used a small metal strip with holes in it and two additional bolts.

I found this mount to be very stable and to securely hold my Surface Pro 4. However, it is pushing the limits of the mount to use it with a 12.3" tablet. It's a little cumbersome to get it in and out of the mount.

Product did not meet with our exspection. Upon try to tell the truth out the mechendice they requested me to recant my statement. They happy to my refund at 20 to 50% restock fee and pay for return postage. Both are very unethical!
