Camera was easy for me to setup on the network. I just plugged it in at the router and then configured the wifi settings. Once that was done I plugged it in where I wanted it and was able to use it just fine from the iphone app. You can hear audio and speak through the camera on the app but you have to select which one you want to do. You cant speak and hear at the same time. I did have to hard close the app and restart it to get the speaker to work a couple of times.I would give this product 4 *'s if they made it easier to access this from an internet browser outside my network. I can connect with no issue on my home network but they don't make it easy at all if you want to access your camera from your work computer. I was hoping to keep an eye on my dog to make sure she wasn't chewing things up since I have just started leaving here out of the crate. Opening my phone constantly to check is not ideal. It seems like their should be an easy way of my phone can manage to access it.

I'm just doing a simple review, mostly to save someone a lot of frustration. While the setup has been well delineated by previous reviewers, I don't remember seeing anyone talk about the app. The APP is what it's all about, and remote monitoring is what has to work. Well, it didn't at first, and I spent a LOT of time scratching my head. Well, here's the trick, MAKE SURE, after you add the camera to the app you set the Video quality to LOW or MIN! When it's on MAX or HIGH, it will fail miserably even on 4G LTE. You set the video quality using the gear icon on the thumbnail view of the camera APP (for iOS at least). Not sure if Android is identical. There you have it, you can now watch live without the APP crashing. You're welcome. I should have a gofundme account for this tip, I'd make millions.

I would have given a 5 star rating but i think 4 are enough because of all the hassle i had to go through to get all the features working and here is the bottom line:the cam works great with tons of options available on the online/PC appIt is very easy to install the cam and get the app working on a any Apple products (Iphones and Ipads)the App - life online- doesn't work on any android devices and i had to contact the seller to recommend a new app (p2pcam_live or p2pcamlive)The app for the PC will not work unless you reset the cam (form the rest button under the cam) for at least 40 seconds..it took several email to get everything workingOther than that , its a good cam for motoring your house/baby

This is a nice IP camera. I've only used on other IP camera (Foscam 8910W) and I am impressed with the daytime picture, and found it to be very clear (better than the Foscam). The ability to record video to a micro-SD card (purchased separately) worked very well. Recording video can occur based on a schedule or motion detection, which I find to be helpful as it conserves space when recording video. The cool thing about the motion detection, is that (if used on a PC) you can define 1 to 4 target zones where motion is monitored, so that pets, for example, won't trigger recording.

This has a good picture and the app worked well on Galaxy s5. It sent a text when motion was detected with picture..I sent it back because it would not connect wireless to my internet it found my network and said it was logged in but when you remove the either net it wouldn't connect. I tried a lot of times. I waited a long time still no connection. A security camera connected to my network by a 6' either net cable is worthless. One more thing. It would not operate on Chrome. I had to use internet explorer yuck. I attached a picture it sent during set up while connected by either net cable.

I had to look for instructions from others who purchased the product and figured it out on their own in order to install it. The instructions must have been written by someone who didn't speak English and never installed the product.

For the price these things are worth it and set up was a cinch. Threw up a bunch of these when going on vacation to keep an eye on the house. For some reason they didn't all work all the time, probably cheap wireless unit to blame. Some times the feed would be stuck for a while, or very choppy. When a cat5 cord is plugged in they work like $100 competitors.

Great on a wire connection.Pain in the butt to get it to work on wireless.I could not get it to connect to my wifi network no matter what until I renamed the ssid without an apostrophe.Great price, been working fine since connected to wifi.The night vision is awesome.Spying on my cat from work is fun.Messing with her with the speaker function is even more fun.
