BodumCanteen Double WallTumbler/DOF Glass, Set of 2

Update on March 16th, 2020. These cups are awesome. I still use them daily, and they have not broken, shattered, or cracked, despite my clumsiness. I use them for Turkish coffee, latte, and cappuccinos. Totally recommend.I bought these expressly to drink Turkish coffee at home. I wanted a 6oz cup with no handles on it, and these were it. Because they are made of double-walled glass, no mater how hot the coffee is, it will never burn your hands. They are mouth blown in Switzerland, and after using them for at least a year and 1/2, they have not broken, nor cracked. They are of a very good quality, which is something expected from Bodum. When I moved to the Middle East, although the airline restricted me on how much I could pack, I made sure to bring these cups with me.

I use 'double-wall' glasses exclusively: iced tea, mixed drinks, hot coffee... & frankly all brands have the same positives + a few negatives.I don't have a dishwasher, so I can't speak to that kind of 'abuse' / mine are always hand-washed; but w/a little care they last. Also don't have refridgerator-door ice-dispenser: I hand fill & never cracked one. Only time one liner broke was from 'dropping' a metal spoon into an empty glass, so I keep a plastic spoon (or a chopstick works great) to stir & muddle in these.I have all 3 brands & it does seem "Bodum" & "Bormioli" are thin-walled / "Sun Tea" are made w/a thicker glass.Amazon problem across the board: some descriptions don't have the ounces listed! but when I ordered 2 different brands & styles which turned out to be the exact same size - Amazon took the extra set back w/o a problem.

I have a 6 set of Canteen coffee cups that I bought a couple of years ago. Great product (no breathing hole), we have never had one break and they must have been in the dishwasher close to a thousand times by now.We bought this set, with out the handles, for cold mixed drinks primarily. We live in East Timor now and I wanted something that wasn't going to have a puddle of condensation around it before I had finished my first drink. Well they do that and do that well, they keep the drink cold and there is still ice left when you have finished. Which I what I wanted.The part I don't like (A LOT) is that there is a plastic breather in the base of the cup. When you wash them, they manage to get moisture inside the double walled glass. When you make your next cold drink, guess what, the inside of the glass clouds up with condensation. I guess maybe if I didn't already have some that do not do this, it may not annoy me as much as it does. But I do, and it annoys me a lot.There must have been a reason they put the whole in the bottom, I just can't see it. I don't think I would buy them again. They just look so ugly with the condensation inside instead of clear crystal.

These are my husband's favorite glasses. He drinks his coffee out of them as they hold the heat. He broke one recently, and I looked all over town but was unable to find them. Then, in a flash of inspiration, I thought of Amazon.com ... and sure enough, there they were! They are very well made and normally used to keep drinks cold ... but as you now know, they work with coffee, too. And unlike most insulated glasses, these are made of glass, not plastic, so they have a bit of elegance to them.

These glasses are not only beautiful but remarkably sturdy. They have done great in the dishwasher too! The fact that we don't need to use coasters with these is also a bonus. We love these glasses so much that we bought them in two other sizes. They are a bit pricey but I think the value is worth the cost.

I originally obtained a Bodum Double Walled glass at a second hand store, not knowing it was spun glass. I loved drinking whiskey on the rocks in this glass, as it kept it very cold, and I loved the smooth design. Sure enough, I accidentally knocked the glass off the counter, and it hit the vinyl floor. Wow, did it shatter! In about a million pieces. So, I bought this set to replace the broken one, and I just love them. Just be careful, and don't slam glass down into them, make them change temperatures rapidly or drop the glasses. I am very careful now, and do enjoy the glasses immensely.

Really nice design. We have two of the older designs (the rounded ones and the more fluted ones), and I like these the best. Easy to hold (unlike the round ones) and look good with coffee and milk layered in.

I really like drinking my coffee out of these stylish glasses. Due to their double walled design they keep the coffee hot yet keep the outside of the glass cool, they are also great for keeping cold drinks cool. The only reason I haven't given them 5 stars is that even though they are made out of glass they do have bit of a plastic beaker sound to them.

E' già la terza volta che ne acquisto, sia per me che come regali per amici che le hanno provate a casa mia e a cui sono piaciute molto. Oltre alla bellezza di essere trasparenti hanno il vantaggio di non scaldarsi e quindi non c'è pericolo di ustione da caffè o tè bollenti.

Adoro estos vasos. Su capacidad, de 0.2 litros, los hace muy versátiles. Tengo un local de hostelería y los utilizo hasta para servir vermú.Hace más de 2 años que soy fiel comprador de los mismos. Recomiendo su compra aprovechando prime de Amazon. Tuve muy mala experiencia comprando a través de la web oficial de Bodum.

Die Gläser sind sehr schön für Tee oder andere heiße Getränke. Leider haben die neuen Gläser viel zu viel Schrift auf der Unterseite (vom Designbüro und Patentrechte). Zudem haben die neuen Versionen einen Silikonpfropfen auf der Unterseite, welcher eine Bohrung verschließt. Dies soll dem Druckausgleich dienen -> Marketinggeplapper oder einfacher in der Herstellung, Sinn macht es keinen. Allerdings hält das Silikon bis jetzt.
