Makes a good cup, but size is NOT 34 Oz
Bodum presses tend to do better than the rest. It doesn't let grounds past the screen and it doesn't get clogged. However, the size days 8 cups (34 oz). The actual usable size that leaves room for grounds is somewhere around 30 ounces. 8 US cups is 64 FL ounces idk why Bodum is saying 8 cups is 34...they assume you're using 4.5 ounce cups. The standard coffee cup sizes are 4, 6, and 8 ounces so someone in Bodum's engineering dep cannot do math! I made 4 cups and it was way too full. If I attempted 8 cups, I'd have a mess.

Nice, but smaller than I expected.
It is too small for a party of more than 2-3. It was one of the largest pots I could fine, but still too small. Other than that it is well made and looks sturdy.

Design und Funktion stimmen
Der Kaffeebereiter macht einen stabilen Eindruck und funktioniert wie er soll. Ich benutze Ihn nun ca. 2 Monate täglich.Manche Rezensionen hier sind wirklich seltsam und hätten mich beinahe von einem Kauf abgehalten. Gut, dass ich trotzdem bestellt habe.Ja, ein Glas wird heiß, wenn man kochendes Wasser hinein gießt, das ist kein Kriterium welches man bemängeln muss. Dafür ist der Henkel ja da. Und nein, das Glas fällt -bei mir- nicht beinahe aus der Metallummantelung beim normalen Kippen. Und wenn ich den Filtereinsatz nicht zu schnell drücke spritzt auch bei meinem Gefäß kein Kaffee raus, auch mit normal gemahlenem Kaffeepulver nicht.Zu reinigen ist das Gefäß auch leicht. Im kalten Zustand läßt sich der Glasbehälter schon schwer aus der Metallummantelung lösen (da hat man schon Sorge, es könne etwas brechen wenn man zu sehr zieht). Wenn das Glas aber warm ist, geht es leicht heraus. Aber ohne, dass es von alleine herausfällt !!Ich bin rundum zufrieden.

Es de las mejores compras que he realizado la uso diario y no le ha fallado nada, pensé que la rejilla se aflojaría rápidamente o que el baso se me estrellaría en cualquier momento, ambas ya ha sufrido accidentes y siguen intactos. Le caben dos y media tazas de las normales, muy buen producto respecto a su precio .

Awesome french press
FINALLY a good quality french press! We had purchased others that didn't hold up well - the "screen" portion became unthreaded quickly in others. This one is durable for sure.
