Bought these for video/photo shoots in the sun. I am not doing crazy physical labor in these except walking. These are very cheap compared to competitors and it does protect from the sun and wick the moisture. Kept me cool in the sun and some warmth in cooler temps.Note: some things poke through so wearing another shirt over these was necessary.As for durability, threads already began to unravel. This was immediately after wash 1 on a normal cycle. I have doubts as to how long these will last, but at the price point, I guess its not too surprising.Good option for someone who doesn't need this type of clothing often. Also different colors, seem to be produced differently as well... I have a blue color that seems to be built better and have different tags.

I purchased these men's t-shirts in a size small for myself as an alternative to the very expensive women's brands of UPF clothing. These Hanes Cool Dri shirts work wonderfully in high heat and humidity, and at a small fraction of the cost of the "sun protective" brands. They are much softer and lighter than the other brands, and yet provide full sun protection. The other brands I have are heavier & work ok if it's just hot and there's a breeze, but are pretty unbearable to wear when the temps and humidity are both in the high 80s or above. Can't say enough about these Hanes shirts! Sure, they get wet from sweat but the material doesn't feel heavy and dries very, very quickly. Besides everyday use, I've worn them to mow the lawn in the jungle-like conditions of SE LA in mid-summer, as well as to play tennis under the same conditions. B/c it's men's sizing, the size S shirts are a little long (I am 5'3"), but that's inconsequential compared to how well they fulfill their purpose (the sleeves are long enough to protect most of my hands, too, without being aggravating about it. Wish they had other colors light enough for summer (why do they even make UPF shirts in black???)

I love these shirts. I live on the Florida coast and go play on the water almost everyday. I use these for snorkeling, swimming, paddling, fishing and surfing. I wear them in the water and they help you stay cool in the Florida heat. Cool than no shirt and SPF 50 protection. I get medium ones for most activities one but small for surfing. They tend to stretch once they get old I use them for fishing. I have probably purchased 10 over the past few years

I am a 5’4” tall female, 130 lbs and muscular. Small fits well (a little lose, not baggy). I do trail work and run chainsaws year-round in the hot and humid mid-Atlantic. Always on the search for hi-viz long sleeved shirts that aren’t too hot in the summer, these are pretty good.While I have another brand I like for the hottest days, these shirts exceed my expectations and are the least expensive of all my summer shirts. These work great for layering in cooler weather and the fabric has held up well under work conditions (it will snag, but less than it seems it will).One complaint: the stitching around the hems (both sleeves and bottom of shirt) starts coming out after a few washes. Would love to see Hanes improve this. Would improve the quality/longevity of the shirts.

I got these from my boyfriend because he landscapes and sit in the sun 24 seven. He said he absolutely loves these and they protect him and keep him cool. He used to wear short sleeves to keep cool but even though this is a long sleeve it is very lightweight and comfortable. We couldn’t find these in any stores around us so thank God I found them on here.

I keep coming back to these! Over the years I've bought half a dozen packs in various colours for a family member with Lupus who requires sun protection. They are light and breathable for summer time wear (especially for you outdoor workers!), but keeps the chill off in cool spring and fall breezes, and most importantly.. effectively keeps the sun off! Wish there was more variety with brighter colours, and larger multipacks (for women too!)

Shirts protect from UV as the listing says they would. Good quality construction. Great value.
