This is a great product for those of us who cannot give ourselves a shot.
It is simple to use, there’s no stabbing a needle into yourself, ouch, it works much like a pen injection, the needle is out of sight as you hold it against your skin, you push a button, you depress the plunger. You hardly feel any sting Because it happened so fast, they last long time too, my first one lasted me a couple of years, and I do have one in reserve in case this one stops working. I’m so glad I found this, it has taken a lot of stress off me having to take shots, a good purchase and I highly recommend it.

Amazing device (32 year phobia of needles)
I'm a very active guy I got tattoos I do mma private bodyguard climbed mountains you name it, with that active lifestyle I ended up with epilepsy one of my medications ended up ruining my thyroid thus I must do hrt for life unfortunately. I've had the worst needle phobia for years and years now after a bad tech destroyed my left arm which after 15 minutes I fainted from the stress. I've always had my best friend inject me and I'd always turn away. Well recently he told me he's moving out we are roommates before that I had my gf at the time do it for me. I was so scared last few weeks I pushed off a weekly dose for two weeks and decided I need to be independent with my medication luckily I bought this months ago but I was having my roommate do it for me normal without the device. Well Wednesday rolls around and it took me all night to gain the courage to inject myself. 28 Guage 1/2 inch half a cc, by no means big at all but it might as well of been a harpoon. All I gotta say with my first experience is I cannot believe I was this scared for so many years, granted injections are different sometimes it barely hurts going in sometimes it burns I however barely felt anything at all not even pain when it punctured it's really given my back my confidence and I can't thank this company enough I cannot tell you how much this device has helped me conquer my fear of injections.

Quality has been reduced on a formerly great product.
Already had an Inject-Ease made by its original maker, Palco. It was, and the one I have still is, a brilliant product. BUT...Palco has apparently gone out of business, and Ambimed bought the design, rights, etc. and now makes the product. Either I got a lemon, or the Ambimed version of the product is vastly inferior to the original...parts didn't fit together perfectly and function smoothly. The power of the spring is less than before, or maybe its functional strength is reduced by internal resistance due to ill-fitting components. Seems like the new guys have cut corners in engineering and manufacturing in an attempt to save a few pennies. I returned the one I got. Will try buying it again in the hopes that the first was a lemon. If it is no better, I will return that one, too.

A life saver
This is an excellent tool to have on hand in case you need it. I take injections that use an insulin syringe and sometimes I have a mental block that just won't let me poke myself. However, using this and just pushing a button to auto-inject is painless and so easy to do. Of course you still have to manually depress the plunger to deliver the medicine, but that's been pretty easy to do. Highly recommend if you occasionally have trouble doing self injections at home.

Very effective, painless
I do have to note the locking mechanism gave me a bit of trouble, so if you have finicky fingers like I do it might give you a bit of grief. Nothing major, just a bit.But beyond that it was quick, painless, and effective!

Chintzy but it works
Edit 6/26/20: I stand by my criticisms but I felt the need to revise my rating with a final star. It works even with it's flaws and it has immensely improved my quality of life.Pretty high price for a cheap little pop gun. In another universe, Walgreens sells these in packs of 3 for 8 bucks. I'm not surprised these have broken for other reviewers. If it breaks I will probably go for the Owen Mumford. There is a lot of play in the needle when it is loaded. The tip can freely swing a few mm in any direction. I worry that I will fire it while the needle is resting to one side and it will be pressed to the center after it penetrates the skin. I don't know if that's a realistic fear but it makes me nervous to use the device.I wish it had more needle travel. The maximum appears to be a conservative 1/2 inch. I'm given the option to use either a 1/2" or 5/8" needle for my treatment and I'd prefer the longer needle. It does what its supposed to do. More painless than manual injection. Honestly its just as much of a mental challenge to me to press the button as it is to insert a needle, but it is less stressful. Alternatives can cost absurd amounts of money, so I don't regret buying it.

People Please Read My Review
Let’s start at the beginning I’m on Testosterone replacement therapy and need to do subcutaneous injects every day. I’m definitely not a fan of needles to say the least and I heard about auto injectors. I found this online and read the reviews that said it was cheap, just ok, could be better etc etc and bought it anyways. I’m so glad I did I’m here to tell you right now if you have to give yourself subcutaneous injections even once buy this now! Seriously I rarely do reviews but I think this product would make life so much easier for anyone who has to give themselves injections. I use 30guage, 1/2 ML , 1/2” insulin needles. Most of the time I can’t feel the needle at all. You push the button it injects the needle and you push the plunger in yourself. I couldn’t be happier! I’m not a paid review writer and if it’s possible look up how many reviews I do, I’ve done like 3 maybe and I buy everything online these days. Please do yourself a favor and buy this it’s good quality and works fantastic. Especially if you have a kid that needs injections this will change his life for the better! If you buy this their is a video on the website I believe that walks you through it all. At first I was like what are all these pieces? It can e set up for several size syringes is all once it’s set up it’s simple to use. Best of luck!

Basic functional, need improvement
The looseness of the gauge within the cylinder wasn't thought out, which bent needles sometimes. need re-engineering to be better, cost is high.. worth only $10!!
