.com Dora has lost her special teddy bear and is headed to the City of Lost Toys to find it. Dora and Boots consult the Map and head for the Number Pyramid where they learn all about counting, adding, and sequencing. Next it's on to the Mixed-up Jungle where they put out-of-place things like clouds and fish back where they belong. Finally, they arrive at the Lost City and sort through a stack of lost toys to find Dora's teddy bear and return a number of lost items to friends like Tico, Swiper, and Benny. (The live touring show Dora the Explorer Live! Search for the City of Lost Toys is based on this episode.) When Boots' new toy "Squeaky" slips out of his hands and floats downstream in "Lost Squeaky," Dora and Boot rush to Gooey Geyser to rescue it. Careful attention to visual details leads the pair across Bubble Bridge, over Muddy Mountain, and into Gooey Geyser. These two Dora episodes foster the development of basic math skills, visual discrimination, and simple Spanish vocabulary in children ages 2 to 5. --Tami Horiuchi

A childhood movie
This was hard to find anywhere else and my little brother loved this movie since I had it as a kid. We even had the computer game! Great Christmas gift.

Amazon.com #1
I ordered Dora The Explorer for my little girl & she loved it. Its way to expensive to buy brand new DVD's from the store when you can get slightly used DVD's from Amazon.com & in VERY GOOD CONDITION for a cheaper price. I will continue to buy products from Amazon.com

Educational and Fun
My 2 year old daughter had just got into Dora. The dvd is better than the programs on television because you can change the language. This dvd can be played in English, French and Spanish. The plots of each story are all basically the same but my daughter seems to like this, although I must say I find the English speaking voice very annoying - it is far less annoying with the French speaking Dora!. I would recommend this DVD on many levels. Its fun but can be educational if you want to use it in that way. I wish more childrens dvds had multiple languages to help them pick up languages and also subtitles to help young kids to learn to read.

City of Lost Toy

What a hit
My kids have loved this - their first exposure to Dora as we've never seen it on TV. Both of them, 2 and 4 years old, have been joining in with the words and actions and it's the one thing they both seem to like to watch. A definite hit.

Dora

Great value for money!
I bought this DVD for my 2 year old daughter to expose her to foreign languages while she is being entertained. She absolutely loves it and watches it over and over again. She has already picked up a lot of spanish words and can even count to 5 in Spanish!
