SafetySure CarEase Transfer Slide 22" L x 18" W

I bought this small slide after buying two of the large ones. I use the large ones in bed or on a sofa or recliner. One has to make sure the sheet is turned right side out. The slippery surface should be inside so that the surfaces slide when you move. Yes. the sheet moves in bed, but I rearrange it as needed. It is especially helpful to scoot out of bed.I bought the smaller CarEase for use in my wheelchair and in the car. I am ordering a second one of these today. The sheet makes it easier to change my position in the car and to scoot into and out of the car or wheelchair. The small size is good for these purposes.

We have not used this transfer sheet yet. Looks like it will work well since it is sturdy plastic or vinyl.

I wasn't exactly sure from the picture how this was going to work, but with my incapacitated mother-in-law, we have been buying any little thing that can make caring for her easier. I use it to scoot my mother-in-law back into the recliner when she sits down. I can only sit her down on the front 2/3 of her lift chair, so I put this under her bottom so that I can go behind the chair and scoot her bottom all the way back. You could also do this by standing at the side of the chair. I have a bad back, but moving her with this slide doesn't hurt my back at all. I would purchase this again and would recommend it for anyone that cares for a handicap person.

My husband uses it to help him get into the car. The slide doesnt stay put and it was way overpriced.It is nothing like the picture shows.

This is so helpful! Every time my mom gets in the car she comments that we should have purchased it a long time ago. The struggle to get in and out of the car is over! She is mobility impaired and rides in the front passenger seat. She enters the car by sitting down and then swinging her legs in. I believe it would work for a good range of body sizes (as opposed to the car seat disks). I have purchased one to give away and intend to purchase another to have on aid to give. I've shown it to several folks with similar struggles. This product meets a major need. It's a simple design, easy to use, and easy to store.I've also ordered the transfer sheets (SMART sheet) to assist in moving a patient in the bed. The videos for it on the manufacture website look promising.This product is difficult to find during a search. 'Car transfer sheet' doesn't bring it up.

I saw someone ask if this was any better than a trash bag. I've used both. This is way better. I'm so glad I found it. I get rides to Dr appointments in an SUV. I was having a hard time getting myself and my big orthopedic boot in the car. Much easier now.

Works well for seat to seat transfers. It'll be good for transferring to/from the dentist chair to/from my scooter. Price is ridiculously high for it, though. Does not work as well as hospital grade slide tubes.

I thought it was a bit expensive, but at this point was willing to give anything a try to assist with car seat transfer.... All I can say is WOW ---- I received it yesterday and put it to use today twice ---- It was exactly what I needed - I'm glad I didn't invest in one of the hard circular "lazy susan" style thing --- and it couldn't be more convenient to fold and carry with youIn my opinion, well worth the money..
