this paper straw made my water taste like paper, it lasted 2 sip and the the paper dissolve in the water and made the water taste bad. I will not use these straw again. I tried several straws and each time after just a few sip the paper made the drink taste like paper and it was not a good taste

These straws are well made, but because they are paper they start breaking down soon after inserting them into my drink.

Good product for the Eco Conscious. I do love plastic straws, but this is a great GREEN option. A bit long, but easy to trim with scissors. I use them for milk products.

I like the thought of being environmentally friendly. For that reason, I was willing to pay 10 cents per straw. They are long enough for large tumblers. I use them with a 40 oz. tumbler. They are wide enough for thick smoothies. Right at 50% of the straws I have used have collapsed between my lips. I don't know why some collapse and some do not. Length of time exposed to a smoothie is not the only factor. Many fail quickly, and some go the length of an entire large smoothie consumption without collapsing at all. At a 50% failure rate, that effectively doubles the already high price of 10 cents per straw to 20 cents per useable straw. Nice environmental thought though.

I received half red+white stripes and half PLAIN white. Bought these specifically for the black stripe as it goes with my party theme.
