Nice large size tea kettle. It has a light to let you know it's heating the water and shuts off automatically when temperature reaches boiling. Feels like a sturdy unit.

I received one as a gift and it must have been a dud. It lasted maybe a month before it short circuited. Purchased a second and have had so far, fingers crossed, no issues. I drink a lot of tea, like a lot. So I'm constantly using this thing. I love the light! Such a cute addition, the automatic shit off once done. Cause setting it and forgetting it is my jam apparently! I love that it stays hot for a long time then stays warm for longer. This thing has changed the way I drink tea and allowed me to drink more as I'm not waiting hours for my tea kettle to to warm up! Noise level is enough to know something is boiling but not enought to alert guest. Love this thing!!

I love this electric water kettle. It has a large bowl that holds up to 8-1/2 cups of water, so plenty of boiling water in one go. Stylish, easy to handle and use. My only negative is that it doesn’t have a thermostat to regulate the heat. It takes about 5-7 minutes to boil and then automatically shuts off. My old one shut off after coming to a boil but then because I could set it to a certain temperature, it would stay there until I shut it off. This one shuts off, then you have to restart each time. The cord is shorter than my last one, so your limited as to where you set it but to me, these are minor inconveniences. So if you drink a lot of instant coffee, tea, hot chocolate or live on Raman noodles! This is a great item to include in your home. I’ve been very happy with it.

We have tried many different kettles, from expensive to cheap, plus we have tried even fancy coffee makers…We wanted a kettle to use with natural instant coffee (which we also get on amazon because its hard to find). We wanted a solution that doesnt put hot water through plastic, so we can drink coffee and not plasticy smelling nastiness.This. Kettle. Delivers. Its cheap, cheaper than anything we tried, and one lasted 2+ years! It seems safe and sturdy as advertised, we haven’t had issues.Some people have complained (when we initially read reviews) about it being wobbly on the base. We figured we would take a chance at this price. We are so happy we did. Yeah, our few have bought now, have wobbled a tiny bit, if empty. If full and put on right, they’re totally find. Just keep it on a flat surface with nothing under it.They do leak water a bit somehow, just dry it up. It seems to maybe come from tipping it when pouring, idk, but again our first one lasted 20x longer than other expensive ones we bought. And the water seems to not cause an issue.Of course with water and electric, not a good mix so be careful!

This has been a great addition to our kitchen. Not only does it deliver hot water is a short period of time, the black and glass decanter and blue lights blends in well with our kitchen decor and it fascinating to watch it go through its boiling stages.

It's perfect. Boils fast. Glad I ordered it.

EDIT: When my first one died, I absolutely did not blame the manufacturer as I was using it WELL beyond normal daily usage, however my second unit was only used as intended ( a few times each day for tea) and it still hasn't lasted as long as I would expect. 18 months really is a sad life expectancy. It works great while its working, but it will randomly die on you in the not too distant future leaving you sad and looking for an emergency replacement.-----------------------------------------------------------------I was amazed when I saw a young girl at work using one of these for her tea. Although I'm a coffee drinker, I also love tea and cocoa. I was so impressed with how quickly this thing not only heats, but actually BOILS water.In addition to water for tea and cocoa, I've also used it to heat water for my Idahoan Potatoes, and last winter when my water pump died and I was bringing 35 degree well water up from the basement for a week, this heated water for washing dishes and bathing. It did the job again for TWO WEEKS a few months later when my water heater died.If you are a tea connoisseur, this doesn't have temperature control to select the perfect temp for the particular tea you're brewing. However, if you're looking for something super simple that just works, and works great, this is it. You literally just flip one button to turn it on, and it shuts off automatically once boiling. It then keeps the water hot for quite a while.I will say that as of this morning, my unit is no longer working after 1 year, 5months. However given how heavily I've used it, I'm not going to consider that a fault at this point. In addition to my normal daily use MULTIPLE TIMES, remember I had used it for heating large quantities of water, running it back to back. Sometimes four times in a row. It's absolutely safe to say that I've gotten my money's worth.
