Great little book for beginning readers especially if they play soccer - It has been read over and over

Wonderful illustrations, simple and few words. This book is perfect for my kindergartener/soccer player who is working on reading and sight words.My only complaint is that the packaging was minimal, no protection at all. The book was bent and folded in numerous places.

The words were easy for my grandson to read as a beginner reader this was very helpful

this is a good book for a level 1 reader. there are short, action oriented sentences that match the pictures. the words are sight words but also since they match the picture, the child can figure out what is happening

I bought this book as a gift for a kindergarten student that I mentor at a local public school. I read the book to him and he loved it. Learning is all about reading.

Winning or losing is not the lesson learned. It is how to play together. To cooperate as a team member. Great rhyming. Easy read. Great level for my two grandsons. They don't seem to get enough!!
