Q: Why does it slip out of the rings? I have to re-attach every time I move the curtains

Difficult to answer without actually seeing the ring and hook together. The mouth or width at the top of the hook is fairly wide and there is not much depth to the hook so presumably the ring is slipping over the hook. I thought this might happen to me but it didn’t. One thing to try (and I thought I might have to do this) is to narrow the width of the hook opening with a pair of pliers or squeezing the hook in a vice if you had one. Hope this helps.

Q: What kind of rail or track do I need to buy for these hooks to run on?

These I bought to replace some larger ‘meat hook’ “S” shaped curtain hooks that were lost when the curtains were dry cleaned. My track is a straight wooden pole about 1-1 1/2 inch diameter) that goes through fairly large wooden rings or hoops. Each ring has a metal/brass eye that is screwed into it and it is through or into this round eye the hook is placed, and the other end of the hook is pushed/attached into the curtain binding. The eye is about a 1/2 cm diameter but could be quite useable if considerably larger. The hook gap or width available to fix the hook onto the eye and ring to hang the curtain is almost exactly 1 cm so you have a fair flexibility. The hooks are smaller than I would have wished but they do the job; they are strong-my curtains are long and pretty heavy. Hope this helps, Martin Spettigue

Q: Could you use these to hang eyelets to a rail

Yes, I used them to hang my floor length eyelet curtains to a curtain rail. They are very hard and sturdy and very easy to attach. Would recommend them. Great price!
