Impressed by the author's entrepreneurial spirit!
Sweet little book that my five year old grandchildren loved finding in their Easter basket. We shared a few laughs and a great vehicle to teach the little ones about humor. More than anything, I wanted to support the author, a young person still in middle or high school who ran with the idea and has saved up for college from this and a previous publication (according to KCRA News). These days we seem to spend a lot of time lamenting an apparent lack of initiative among our youth; this happily evidence to the contrary.

Not very funny, not many jokes
I bought this for my 9 year old. It has very few jokes in it that our family thought was worth chuckling (and we are pretty easily entertained by corny jokes and puns). Maybe a younger child would find it funnier?? Also, one joke takes up 2 pages so there’s really not that many jokes (joke on left page and answer on right page). I bought another joke book for my 11 year old on Amazon that we have enjoyed.

Great book
Both my 6 and 8 year old boys love this. The best part is they now understand what a real joke is and they’ve stopped making up ridiculous sentences and calling them “jokes”. Love it!

PERFECT
Gave this to my 4 year old niece and she absolutely LOVES it!! She's been carrying it with her everywhere and asks us all to read her one each time. What a great idea!

Glad I bought it
The kids love it when I pick random jokes out of this book and read it to them, I'm hoping they will be so interested in it they will learn how to read just through their interested in telling corny jokes. Another way I trick kids into learning, reading, and arithmeticing.

it was still wonderful to see him experiencing them for the first time
My son, Devin, loves this book. He sat next to me and read it page to page, laughing uproariously at each joke. Even if I knew that jokes, it was still wonderful to see him experiencing them for the first time, and enjoying them so fully. Well done, Josiah. We look forward to volume 2.

not for real little kids
Your kid will need to be like 8 or older to pick up on the humor of these jokes. Not for our 4 year old unfortunately. Also there needs to be more variety in the jokes.
