Lightweight inexpensive and reliable
We use this for a raised bed gardens and that is all. For that purpose of a 4 x 8 raised bed garden of which we have 13 of them this is the perfect tool. Don't go buy anything big and overly expensive because you simply don't need it. We have used this for the whole season and it worked flawlessly and best of all it's very lightweight and works off a very small portable generator so I can take it out back and use it.

Little machine doesn't know it's little.
I didn't expect much because of how small and light weight. We are urban gardners that didn't need much but this little machine plowed through virgin ground like it didn't know it was a little machine.

Amazingly tough & powerful
We decided to turn part of the yard into lawn,. It's not a big area, so I ordered this tiller to break up of the very dry, hard, and compacted ground. I did water the yard a couple of times, which helped a tiny bit, but still, this thing went through it like a dose of salts. Way, way more capable than I expected. There were some large buried stones (third-of-a-brick size), some inch-thick roots, and some old broken clay pipe sections. The worst that happened is the tiller would bounce off the largest stones but it just coped with everything else. If this is their idea of a low-end tiller, their top-end ones must be freeway earth movers!

Powerful
We initially bought this tiller (6.5 amps) from Earthwise, but the company upgraded it to the 13.5 amps model for no extra cost. When I initially received the email notifying us that they were going to upgrade, I thought it was a scam. But, it wasn’t..... and we’ve been extremely happy with the upgrade. We tilled 4 large plots with ease with this machine, in no time flat. It is a powerful machine. Had I tried to till the old fashion way manually, it would have taken hours to do. Very happy with the company and our purchase.

Very nice mini rototiller
I've used the tiller several times over the past 6 months and I'm very happy with it. It tills very fast, so you have to be aware when you pull the trigger. It does hop a bit on hard ground, but that's to be expected from a light tiller. Dirt will get thrown a few feet from the tiller due to the speed of the tines. My only complaint is the position of the safety button. You have to push a button and pull the lever at the same time to start the tiller but the button could be placed in a more convenient location. Minimally annoying. I would recommend the tiller for small jobs and tight spaces. It definitely won't dig inches down into hard soil like a full-size tiller, but it's not made for that type of work. It's perfect for tilling smaller gardens and flower beds.

Easy to use
I LOVE this tiller! It’s the only one I ever used so I can not compare it to others. It does not need gas or oil just a long extension cord! It is a hard worker. I just did 2 and half hours of work of digging into clay hard ground in Southern Oregon. It can handle it all. I dug up several black berry root balls. Wow! It makes the dirt so much softer. It’s powerful and you have to hold on tight! Does not disappoint! Highly recommend!

Perfect for tilling a raised vegetable garden
This tiller is plenty powerful to till a raised vegetable garden and mix in soil treatments. It will only go about 8-inches deep. It is light so don’t expect it to dig down into hard soil or clay. There is only one speed, and it does tend to throw dirt out of the raised garden. We put plastic sheeting down around the garden to catch the soil and return it to the garden. It is light enough to hang on a wall. For cleanup, you cannot spray the tines with a hose because of the electric motor. Instead, you need to use a brush.

Small and powerful small garden tiller
This tiller is just right for smaller gardens, re-tilling soil or tilling patches of lawn. It needs a long enough outdoor extension which you must be careful with so it doesn’t get tangled up, like all outdoor equipment with cords. I would not recommend for real hard clay soil that’s never been tilled or areas bigger than about 4’ by 20’. The right tool for the right situation.

Adequate for smaller gardens
Tiller will bounce off of ground and not dig in well if you move it too quickly. Leave it in one spot for a few moments to allow it to dig in deeper. Once we figured this out, this tiller does the job. I like that it us small and light.
