This works perfectly for my battery operated fan which has a 9v DC 600mA output but did not come with the actual power cord. 9V 0.6A, 600mA Power Supply, DC Transformer 5.5mm x 2.1-2.5mm

I wanted to use my battery fan but with electricity for its easy mobility and this connector worked wonderful.

I bought this to hard wire my garage exterior entry pad, which it designed for a 9 volt battery. I drilled through the back of the battery compartment with a long 3/16" bit to get past the 2-2X4s. I then cut the tip off the transformer wire, fed the wire through the 2X4s back to the battery compartment, where I stripped all the wires, put heat shrink tubing on them, and joined + to +, and - to -. I heat shrunk the tubing, plugged the transformer in to a close outlet, tucked the wires in, and replaced the battery compartment door. It works great, and no more expensive and eventually dead 9 volt batteries.

Looked all over for my Nektar as I wanted to use wall power instead of computer USB power. Hard to find because they require a 9V 600mA center positive DC power supply. This seems to be working fine.

This worked for a portable fan I've been feeding D batteries for years.
