Fantastic present for four years old.
I bought this toy for my four-year-old following the product recommendations. It is the perfect gift for the whole family, guaranteeing great fun. The battery runs out after 30 to 35 minutes of use, allowing everyone to relax and teaching the child patience and responsibility.PLEASE NOTE: Although the casing protects the propellers and no one touches the drone during play, all you have to do is point your hand at it to change the direction of flight - beware of long, untied hair. A breath of wind can screw them into the propellers. There is no drama, but it is better to be careful.

Great fun.
These are fantastic fun. I had a problem with a charging cable on 1 of 2 bought but excellent customer service sent a replacement in hours. They only run for about 10 mins on a charge but charge again in about 40 mins. Great vale for the price. One point - figuring how to launch: turn it on and sit flat on your hand and then gently but sharply throw up a little in the air. The instructions weren't clear on that really.

Sons gift.
My son loves this, brilliant toy but is a little noisy and battery does not last very long, feel like I'm permanently putting it on charge.

Great fun - short battery life
My 5 year old loves this; flys well in our living room and is able to avoid walls etc. We had a session on xmas day with 4 generations (Great Great Uncle, Grandfather, Auntie, Father, Mother and Son) all playing and passing it around. The sensors work well at detecting walls and hands so you can "Air push" the drone in different direction. The Battery only lasts 8 or so mins which is a both a shame and a positive, ie my 5 year old knows the game is over when the red light shows so we don't have the whole "One more turn... please".As the battery runs out and the red light turns on it will do a controlled landing rather than just losing power. Not tried it outside yet but on a calm day I should imagine it would work fine, it's very light weight so any wind will disrupt it.

Fun but poor battery life
I find my son only gets a few minutes playing with it before it needs charged again - I've left it charging overnight etc to see if it makes a difference but it didn't which is ashame as my son loves this drone - he's had so much fun with it the short times he gets to play with it

Totally awesome!!
A great children's first drone however it took us 10 minutes to figure out to get it flying, the instructions lack the vital information about giving it a sharp light throw upwards to activate the motors. It's got obstacle detection and can be manoeuvred by hand gestures.

Lasts less than 20 minutes
Minimal battery life means flights do not last more than two minutes, so that's the fun your child gets before it has to be charged again. Charging takes about an hour but the real problem is that the USB charging port is so flimsy that by the time you have plugged and unplugged the charging lead five or six times, the port becomes wobbly and detaches from its internal connections, which ultimately renders charging impossible. Good fun for an afternoon, so if you buy this as a visiting relative I am sure you will see some happiness (it's good fun for the insultingly short time it is designed to last). Sadly it will break within hours/days of your departure. An absolutely wasteful bit of plastic from the other side of the planet. No bricks and mortar shop would get away with selling it; no business that had to confirm to UK/EU law could manufacture it; and building the thing so that it actually worked properly in the first place would have incurred only extremely marginal cost. A toy for our times!

Very good value.
Loved this drone. It’s protected by the cage round the blades so no damage to them when it bumps into anything. The children had so much fun with it all over Christmas and still do!!They are worth every penny. They don’t hold the charge well but to be honest ten mins of the noise and everyone trying to catch it is enough. On a safety note long hair will get tangled in the blades it best to tie it up.The cage isn’t strong so don’t let your dog get it!!
