It works and it's food safe which is hard to find. I don't like how hard it is to tell that the color has changed. It's difficult even in a bright room. I have tried using a flashlight and even then that throws off the color. The problem is they only include like 6 colored granules per packet and the packet fabric cannot easily be seen through.I wrote a more detailed review that Amazon rejected and I don't know why. If you are an Amazon moderator rejecting this review then tell me why.

These work very well. I have one location which seems to turn the indicator beads blue or green relatively quickly. I have 3 packets in that location. When I tried recharging them in the oven 1 of the 3 went back to orange color but the other 2 were a mix of orange and green. Out of 14 packs those are the only 2 that present a question to my mind. I like the size as they fit in my containers without taking up too much room. After all, I buy the containers to store items, not silica packs. So I can fit the items I want into the containers and these packs still fit nicely. The only reason I didn't give the item 5 stars is because of those 2 packs I mentioned earlier.

Love this product. Adsorbs all the water in a container. Use it in a pelican case for best effect.Green tip: buy a gosun go and instead of polluting the environment, use the power of the sun to recharge the packers. If I could convince one person to do this I feel like I helped the environment just that little bit.Note: leave a really small gap to let steam escape but check on the last one every couple hours and see if they’ve gone back to orange. If they have then take them out. Throw them around in the air for about 5 min preferably in an arid environments until it’s about room temperature. This will allow the heated moisture to escape the bag that’s trapped inside. Then put it back in the original bag or a pelican case. All the best!

These are great desecantes and last a long time before needing to be dehydrated. I see some comments that the orange balls (that change to green to show that you need to dehydrate the package to reactive the desiccant) are hard to see. I have found that if you hold the package up to a window so that the sun shines through it, you can easily see the color or the balls. At night you can do the same with a light, but I agree with the commentators that it’s harder to see the color of the balls because (obviously) a lightbulb is not as bright as the sun.

This is the 3rd purchase from Dry & Dry, this time the 20gm 30-pack. Performance has been great. Regenerating is easy with the Instructions and the orange-green indicating beads. Dry & Dry also does a great job with properly packaging their products, both the form factor of these 30gm packets as well as the retail package itself (a durable poly-plastic resealable gusset bag that appears to be a minimum 5mil thickness...a great bag to reuse to store used Dry&Dry packets waiting to be regenerated, etc.).

These packs seem to work very well. The only thing I can criticize is that the indicator grains that tell you when the pack needs to be reheated are barely visible through the packaging.

I can see the orange particles in the packets so I will be able to tell when I need to recharge the packs. The package materials don't melt when recharging - a problem I've had with other brands, regardless of their claims to the contrary. These ARE food safe - another claim by other products that proved false. I will continue to purchase Dry & Dry products and no, I have not been paid for this review. I actually bought and use the product.

Good little product it really sucks the moisture out of the air. Reminds me of the way my exwife sucked the joy out of life
