Compre en octubre 2020 este SSD, desviando de mi línea de compra habitual, pero ayer, al realizar una actualización en mi ordenador, dejo de funcionar del todo.He hecho una reclamación al vendedor… A ver que pasa. Lo probé antes de comprar 10 mas pero veo que de momento seguiré mirando otra alternativa.

Expensive but worth it. The capacity is huge and use this to backup my Cloud. Works well in the Inatack RAID enclosure.

I thought that the $800 was pricey until I saw the 8TB from Samsung costing TWICE as much--so everything is relative. The main difference, as best I can determine, is the writing capacity, with the Samsung being the same technology as all the other EVO drives. The Micron is geared for minimum writes (like in a Data Lake). However, for my purposes, playing music from a 600,000 track library is just fine.

I bought 2 SSD's of these product for my backup. In the beginning, everything seemed working good, fast speed etc. But after 3 months one of the SSD's broke, cannot access again. Worte my issues to the Dealer, but still no response. This is not the customer support, i can expect for an item with a purchase price of 845 USD.

Works great as my multi-media storage drive in my CUK N950VR (Clevo N95TP6) Gaming Laptop and in my MiniPro 2.5” SATA to USB 3.1/eSATA external enclosure. I wouldn’t use it as a main hard drive in a PC or laptop since it’s not really meant for it, but it works great for a large storage device. My 2 Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB M.2’s do most of the RW work. Sometimes the Micron 5210 slows down for a while, not slow enough to disrupt gaming or streaming, I just noticed it when I have something up that measures it’s throughput, and I suspect that maybe it’s reaching a thermal index since it isn’t too far from the CPU. But that’s only when I’m running it very hard for hours like encoding with Handbrake.
